Since the players isnt acquired until he deadline, their salary is pro-rated as they have far less than the full amount owed to them. So bringing in a player with a $4.5 million cap hit translates to only a percentage of that against the cap since the Jets arent responsible for the salary he already received.

I think you’re understating the campaign Russia launched to meddle. And people need to stop assuming every move Mueller makes is “all there is”. If at the end of the day he concludes trump and his campaign were not involved (or unwittingly involved) then So be it. Let it play out.

FX in Voy and DS9 were great for that time. In fact really really good. DS9 had tons of space battles. As part of an upcoming documentary about DS9 they remastered a brief clip to show how good it could be in high def. the models and cgi elements were all made at the time with way more detail then could be seen. DS9 in HD would be awesome. As for Discovery I just wish they’d render the space scenes brighter without a blue tinge to everything.

The president doesn’t get convicted of a crime and then get impeached. Mueller cannot indict the President. He won’t. What he might do is identify crimes he believes to have been committed and refer it to the deputy AG. He may then refer it to the House which would charge the President and vote on impeachment. If they agree by a simple majority the President is then impeached. It then goes to then senate where a 2/3 vote is required to remove him from office which is unlikely. However where trump is likely concerned is investigations into his business conduct. If there is evidence of money laundering the FBI might be waiting for him the day his presidency ends.

Likely to be held in contempt of congress. But Im not sure what his game is. Is he also stonewalling Mueller? He might be stonewalling Congress because Trump will know what he said so he can keep up appearance of loyalty. But he has to be careful about stonewalling Mueller. One lie and he can be charged. So the question is, is he COOPERATING with Mueller...?

I agree. Could be the biggest news going. Gates knows things. And it applies TONS of pressure to Manifort. Now, Trump could pardon them. But the same is true of Gates who seemingly would rather flip then be loyal and count on a pardon. Remember, it wasnt the crime that got Nixon, but the cover-up. Trump may never be charged with collusion. It might be accepted that it happened, but Meuller might recommend money laundering charges that are related to business ties with Russia. And Trump can then argue it has nothing to do with Russia meddling in the election, but it wont matter. A crime is a crime. I believe we can all agree Don Jr is not a genius. For me, if Mueller gets closer and closer to Trump (and he seems to be by the people charged or flipped), if he gets Kushner, it gets really interesting. I assume Don Jr would gladly go to prison for his dad. Kushner? Not so much. Plus, he has a ton of his own family business relationships that could suffer. If Mueller gets anything on Kushner, things take an interesting turn.
