it was very good. Not sure if it was better than Kenny/Jericho. Star power would certainly be on the New Japan side. Very different matches though. But very good regardless. WWE fans will always see that product as better though. i saw lots of complaining about Gargano not winning and comparing him to Daniel Bryan. Let’s not get carried away lol

Well it’s just speculation based on fox possibly being interested in RAW and not having three hours available on Monday night. If WWE stays with USA it would almost assuredly remain the same. Keep in mind the Overun is not a USA thing so much as a WWE thing. They want to go over because it pads the rating and was meant to help them competitively when they went against nitro. So wwe could drop or scale back the over run if they really had an issue with how long the show is. They are all about content. So I don’t think Vince would ask for less content. I don’t think he sees 3 hour RAWs as a problem. He likes producing content and getting paid. But FOX would be a big rise in prestige and potential viewers.

The only time the Jets made the playoffs, Chevy made some minor but good moves to add depth. So one might think he'd be open to that now. It wouldnt really fit his style to get a high priced rental but this would be the year to do it. if Kane wasnt Kane, he'd be the perfect type of player for the Jets to add. Given some of the D injuries, I'd like to see another solid D man brought in. He might look at a veteran goalie if Mason is out long term.

I think the difference is the sense that Helle struggled/regressed and the Jets had no answer for it. Helle goes to one camp and improves a ton. So the criticism is, why couldnt the Jets identify the issues and help him work through them. Ive been critical of the jets goalie coach. But we also dont know if Helle went to that specific camp based on feedback from the Jets (or at least I dont know).

The argument would be that the NHL team has all these options for helping make their players better. They have a director of development, coaches etc. But Helle didnt improve until he took it upon himself to do so. The flip side is, it should always be incumbent on the player to be improving his skills. Maybe the particular camp Helle went to was recommended by the Jets, I have no idea. But whomever runs it, I'd hire him to be our goalie coach for the next ten years.

Wheeler is the X Factor for me. Im not worried about the Jets 3 or 4 years from now. But if our window is truly opening, how does re-signing Wheeler or not re-signing Wheeler impact us?
