  1. This is really an historic melt down. It will be shown for years, perhaps taught in schools (unless he does something even worse) https://www.cnn.com/2020/04/14/politics/donald-trump-coronavirus-governors-economy/index.html With 23,000 Americans dead and millions without a paycheck, President Donald Trump dimmed the lights in the White House briefing room, fired up a misleading propaganda video and boiled over. In one of the most unchained presidential tantrums ever captured on television, Trump's Monday display flouted every notion of calm leadership by the commander in chief in a crisis. He claimed powers never envisioned by the Constitution and insisted his "authority is total" to order states and cities to get moving again to break out of the frozen economy. His warning came as two blocs of Eastern and Western hot-spot states banded together in an implied challenge to his vow to get people back to work soon, setting off a brewing confrontation over the power of the federal government. During the news conference, Trump moaned that the press was not giving him credit because "everything we did was right" in the coronavirus pandemic. Raging at reporters, the President used the campaign-style video to mislead the nation about his sluggish recognition of the threat from the virus, after once predicting a "miracle" that would make it go away. He called up his top medical adviser, Dr. Anthony Fauci, to publicly repudiate his own words Sunday on CNN, which had been interpreted as criticism of early administration actions.
  2. There's a bunch of these and they're hilarious!
  3. No kidding. The orange goblin is so unhinged. He’s losing it. He’s so easy to provoke though. Just ask him reasonable questions or throw his own words back at him and he goes nuts. What an embarrassment.
  4. Won’t be enough. And honestly if he could take those cross supporters right to hell with him, all the better.
  5. Absolutely absurd. It really is who you know. from wrestlingobserver At a press conference today, Orange County (Florida) mayor Jerry Demings was asked how WWE is still able to run shows despite the state's stay-at-home order. "I think initially there was a review that was done and they were not initially deemed an essential business. With some conversation with the governor's office regarding the governor's order, they were deemed an essential business. And so therefore, they were allowed to remain open," Demings said. Demings said that -- because of HIPAA laws -- he doesn't know the specifics associated with the person in WWE who tested positive for COVID-19. “But that’s like a little family," Demings said. "A small family of professional athletes that wrestle. And if one of my family members tested positive in my house, that would be concerning to me. We would have to make some provisions in my house to make sure that the rest of us not get infected. So I would assume that -- from a business perspective -- the WWE is doing that type of analysis of its own family.” The person in WWE who tested positive for COVID-19 is an on-air talent but not a member of the in-ring roster. Over the weekend, WWE issued a statement about the positive test: "A WWE employee has tested positive for COVID-19. We believe this matter is low risk to WWE talent and staff, as the individual and a roommate became symptomatic in the days following exposure to two people working in acute health care on the evening of March 26, after WWE’s TV production on a closed set was already complete. The employee had no contact with anyone from WWE since being exposed to those two individuals, is doing well, and made a complete recovery.” WWE is resuming live television broadcasts from the Performance Center in Orlando, Florida starting with tonight's Raw.
  6. He was toast. Even with the cheating. Even by energizing a core that usually doesn’t vote, by appealing to their racism and stupidity. He was way behind Hilary. As dumb as Rudy is he did one thing right. He leveraged his relationships in the NY fbi to pressure Comey into doing what I’m sure he felt was exceedingly fair but in reality was the most idiotic boneheaded things in the history of American politics. And it handed trump a presidency he didn’t earn, deserve or want. this year trump has about the same chance. Virtually none. Outside of a crazy scandal, which the alt right is desperately trying to conjure up or absurd cheating or some sort of disaster that allows the admin to stifle votes (and you can see how they want to use Covid to do that), trump really has no chance. I mess Biden drops dead two weeks before the election or suffers a debilitating stroke or something, there is virtually nothing trump can actually do on his own to win. He’s never polled close to “winner”. And even when his approval was its highest he trailed well behind Biden. and that’s before Obama even enters this thing.
  7. It’s pretty awful considering Vince’s net worth. And that wwe owns 23% of the league. To not pay people is ridiculous. I believe it’s $4 million. Pocket change to Vince.
  8. Also Dr Fauci falling on his sword for trump right now. It’s almost hilarious. He’s really pumping trumps tires. Lol
  9. So if I remember correctly Vince repeatedly swore wwe had nothing to do with the xfl. Now it turns out they were significant owners.
  10. It’s an interesting thing. The first XFL Shut down when it threatened to impact wwe. And now I’m guessing this has a lot to do with wwe needing Vince’s attention.
  11. Vince was sole owner but I’m sure he was invoiced for many things as any business would be.
  12. Hopefully the Bernie Maniacs fall in line too.
