Okay, thats better. One story said a new galaxy. I guess this answers how they'd continue after the current trilogy. Kennedy always said the "saga" was about the Skywalkers so until you were keeping Luke around, you cant really do another Saga trilogy. So they'll create a new one.

This Roy Moore story really hits home how gross the GOP has become. Just twitter or google around. I dont even want to compile the stuff. But basically many Republican supporters are saying things like even if its true, they'd rather vote for Moore than a Democrat. I think it was a FOX news guy that remarked that the incident with the14 year old girl was "consensual". Oh and it was like sex sex so its ok. Ugh One Republican tried to say it was a Democrat conspiracy and they got the women to make up these stories. A journalist pointed out that the 14 year old is actually a Trump voter and the guy said well of course, thats part of the cover story.

Not really shocked about any of this. Glad to see it coming to light and hopefully things change. Very saddened by the scope. And seeing "favorite" actors caught in it and facing the fact that they are pieces of crap sucks. I had to refrain from posting to a friends FB page. He posted a defense of Spacey. basically the "how do we know these men & women are telling the truth, what happened to innocent until proven guilty, just leave poor Spacey alone" and several people agreed and said how awful it was for Spacey. Of course, innocent until proven guilty. But this topic will always be one that takes things on their face.

I feel bad for the guy. I think it got to the point it had to happen. Like Goalie said, the desire to go home. Imagine being a North American and being signed to the splashy new team in Russia with the hype that you're their #1 centre etc. And then instead, they cant fit you under their cap, send you to the minor leagues. Meanwhile, there is a culture shock. And its all weighing on you. Good luck to the player. It was a bad situation and I think Vegas didnt handle it well. Had his price been lower, they might have shipped him somewhere (I thought Caps would be a good fit because it would acclimate him easier). Oh well just another chapter in the story of the Knights.

Odd, I listen to the morning show on the drive and certainly whomever said Westwood can string sentences together is factually incorrect. The know it all part, well, if you are right, then its not really an insult and he's usually on the right side of the issue he's passionate about. People want their sports commentators to be very vanilla, I get that. The personal insults are hilarious though. Yeah but 1290 is a sports station only. its to be expected. I bet their numbers spike for Jets games. And CJOB numbers have free-fallen over the years.

I would think TSN would have taken a run at it. But there would have been some overlap with Jets coverage. Perhaps the Bombers preferred to have a station to themselves. Though I would guess the highest offer won. I dont get the Westwood hate. Is it an ironic thing? He has lots of great insight.

No work. 100% shoot. Its an amazing story though and I love talking about it like it was a work. In 2002, my then-partner and I considered writing a book called The Montreal Hoax. And even though we knew it was a shoot, we'd write a book claiming it was a work. Because it really is fascinating. The only work aspect is that Vince became a heel character but as I recall it wasnt because of Montreal. It was at the urging of Vince Russo later. Vince played the classic Mr McMahon style heel character years earlier on USWA TV doing an angle with Jerry Lawler. There are clips on youtube.
