  1. Guess we dodged a bullet then lol
  2. Im a Conservative and I enjoy CNN. Its good to get different opinions. People making the mistake that one bad story paints the whole thing is wishful thinking. The Trump supporters love it. But they are quiet when their own guy lies through his teeth so it really doesnt matter.
  3. Ive been watching on FF...lol
  4. That should give an indication of what the Jets are looking for...
  5. I believe he is Samoan. Polynesian. Hawaiian. I dont know. He plays a Samoan. But he's not part of the Samoan wrestling family (some of whom arent related to each other by blood anyway but consider themselves to be part of the same family).
  6. What a joke. And the First Lady's main project is combating cyber bullying. Yeah right. CNN reports photos from the event in question show no blood or bandages so not only was Trump making a cruel, belittling remark, he was lying anyway. How can his wife and daughter stand him?
  7. I said the same thing. Roman, Joe, Usos would have been a great clique.
  8. They're trying to appease the fans but they havent really turned him. Although WWE generally doesnt do actual face turns (heels just start working other heels), they usually do heel turns. They've missed the boat with Roman. Should have flipped with Brock a couple years ago with Heyman joining Roman.
  9. I'd suspect Cena would be cheered by some of the fans. The big thing with Roman was, he was boo'ed by smart fans but cheered at house shows so Vince never soured on him (just kept putting off his coronation). But supposedly he is now being boo'ed on house shows. I'd turn him heel. The problem is, they have waited too long and you risk the fans screwing with him as a heel by cheering. Because fans are savy enough to know they are being pandered to. When in doubt, Go with Joe.
  10. WWE has changed their WrestleMania plans. The plan has always been Roman beating Brock for the Universal Championship. But they recently decided to go in a different direction. No word yet on the new plan but speculation is Roman beating Brock at SummerSlam and then doing Roman/Cena at WM. Brock is scheduled for some SD house shows so its possible he's being moved. I'd have Joe beat him if its me.
  11. I see he also worked for the PA. So that's likely a positive. A former player, former PA employee. Hopefully it works out. But will this cause the refs to stop screwing the Bombers now that there is a Winnipegger in the head office?
  12. Face chasing the heel is the traditional booking. For MITB, a heel winning works because it's essentially a dirty trick to cash in on someone when they least expect it and are already beaten down. I cant remember every MITB cash in but, RVD for example, they twisted this by having him cash in in advance, to set up the PPV match. So he looked like the ultimate babyface. Even when it's a heel, the fans always buzz and pop for the cash in. So when its a face, it works to the advantage of making that person seem special, especially when cashing in on someone the fans want to see lose. In my promotion, we do a similar thing (called the Golden Ticket) and if I recall, the first few were all heels and the last few have all been faces. The end result is different. Solidifying the dirty heel or giving a special moment to a popular babyface who finally beats the vile heel at his own game.
  13. You bet. I PM'ed you the gentleman's name as well. How much interest is there among MBB members? Could we get 10-20 from here down there in the box? The guy spearheading has made arrangements with Vegas to make this a possibility and I, independently, have spoken to a VGK sales person as well.
  14. They havent given a final figure because they are priced based on the team but they believe it will be around $300 and change each. The benefit is, unlimited beer and food. Versus $100 or so for a regular ticket, buying your own food/booze. And the box is more comfortable and obviously its pretty cool. I said I'd pay the $300 easy, for the experience of being in a box with 74 other Jets fans in Vegas. Im booking Mexico for the winter right away, probably look at Vegas in a month or so. Waiting for the buddy to confirm he's in for sure. Still some decent deals, even saw MGM had a reasonable price in a flight package. With the game being a Friday night, to go for 4 days, you're paying the highest prices.
  15. He clearly has an issue with women. Which we knew. But he keeps confirming it. He's such a child. And very transparent.
  16. I suppose if you think disabled people have it so easy, you could trade. I bet they'd be okay with that too.
  17. The NHL tried to set them up to be competitive but Vegas, I think, used that to try and draft & develop faster. They're on the five year plan. They tried to move up to #1, then #2. Couldnt do it. But they have lots of picks. They'll keep their younger players and hope, by adding all these draft picks over the next few years that they are a playoff team, probably in 4 years or so.
  18. There's a guy locally arranging a charter flight if he gets enough interests. Either way he has talked to Vegas about a box too. Includes food and drink. I told him I was in for the box. Let's take over Vegas.
  19. If jets go for him it says they want to improve. At least they're making an effort
  20. Probably. Hopefully one of those feel-good sign & retire deals.
  21. Hmmmm, so Jets interest in Steve Mason heating up. Might be in indication Jets want more than just a stop-gap veteran. Hasnt Mason flat out said he wants to start? Mason seems like the better option of the two (between him and Elliott).
  22. The blogger Tessier reports these as rumours/speculation making the rounds. Weird: The other rumour that was bantered around on social media was the Jets being interested in Vanek and Hanzal. Like many scenarios at this time of year this one seems a bit goofy to say the least. Vanek is coming off a 6.5 million deal and 48 points at age 33, is he willing to sign in Winnipeg at a huge payout and to play 3rd line minutes with hopes of more? Would he be used at 2nd line RW and moving Ehlers back to LW and dropping Perreault?
  23. Just read this and found it hilarious: It's been reported that the Jets have reached out or shown interest in Kulikov from the Sabres. This seems to be the Stu.0 (Stu point O) move as the two players are so similar. The upside is Kulikov may be better at suppressing shots in his end and not at both ends like Stu.
