Jarrett has brought back Dutch Mantell and Scott D'Amore to the booking team. All eyes are on the Hardy's as their contracts expire in the next few weeks (I think Matt's expires around Feb 27th). WWE is interested.

But one could argue that the most expensive D (Buff & Toby) havent been good enough. Lack of effort, you can look internally at the team leadership and coaching.

This is the great shame of the NHL right now - the denial of CTE and brain injury. I realise they want to win a lawsuit but its a sickening lack of empathy. The NFL players won a lawsuit because it was shown the league knew of the dangers and hid that from players. Im of the mind that players in the 70's, 80's etc cant pin that on the NHL as no one knew. But any player today who goes on to suffer CTE could win a lawsuit. The NHL is handing this to the players (down the road) on a silver platter.

Actually Chiarot wasnt good last year. The bottom pairing have been bad for awhile. Started the season without Trouba but with Myers so thats a wash. Did nothing to make bottom pairing better. We all expected the Jets do be better. Though I did say it could be a step back year. Talent is one thing. Effort is another. The coaches arent working or the wrong mix of players. Either way, that's Chevy's department. We all know there have been times players quit and coaches got fired because you cant fire the players. But its accepted. Bad teams have to assign blame and it goes to the coach until enough coaches get fired that it goes to the GM.

You cant use wins because its too subjective when so many other factors are involved. In fact they both have 4 wins! Same amount of wins. and Hutch has better stats.
