They weren't letting in 3 or 4 goals every opening period. Helle was around league average save % until two straight pulls torpedoed it. Pavs hasn't looked at all like the answer. And this is when he'd be most consumed with playing his best hockey. And he can't. Because he isn't good enough. Heard a caller saying no matter how bad Pavs is he looks like an NHL goalie. What does that mean? Probably that Pavs is very active and athletic in net. But he's no Hasek. We want a boring goalie. Not gumby. Should have stuck by Helle. Hey when did Helle start sucking? Was it after he had a great performance and then his coach benched him against the best team in the league? If Helle has a confidence problem it's on Maurice. Playing Pavs in back to backs won't help either. Time to go back to Helle.

I agree. My buddy is convinced Luke will die, to become the Obi Wan of this trilogy. But I think the right call is a happy ending where Luke lives through the trilogy. Ultimately it IS the Skywalker Saga and I think, Prequel's be damned, the story isnt Anakin's (as Lucas sort of retconned) but Luke's. Luke's past (through his parents), present (Originals) and future (Sequels and likely Rey).

Yeah, its weird, trying to find hidden meaning. The originals had no hidden meanings, even if people try to interpret Return of the Jedi as being about Anakin's redemption rather then Luke's ascension. But I guess since the Prequels, people have been trying to argue that the titles mean more than the obvious. The Last Jedi is clearly Luke but it doesnt preclude a double meaning if Luke dies and Rey becomes a last Jedi

I think its that the media is as angry at Trump as Trump is at them. Its a game they're playing. Media is trying to ridicule him and hurt his support. Trump is trying to margenlize the media or control them. I dont think Trump can win that battle. The media is always going to be biased to a degree but I think most mainstream media wants to be responsible and cover the news well. Trump just gives them every excuse to ridicule him. And really, its not CNN ridiculing him, it's Trump doing it. Trump screwed Trump (thats not a hot Ivanka joke either).

He has some issues to overcome, like the time he dated a former Hells Angels groupie and left classified NATO documents at her house. But other than that, he looks to be the most reasonable. Looks good, speaks well, is energetic and fit. I think he wins. Canadians will like O'Leary but he cant win Quebec so the Cons wont make him leader. And I doubt O'Leary would run for a seat and gain experience as an MP...he's rich, why bother doing that if he cant be PM. Bernier for the win. Trudeau wont look as "fresh" next to Bernier as he did Harper and wont have the huge Quebec advantage either. Bernie was called the "Albertan from Quebec" and has support out West. I actually like a lot of O'Learys platform. But he cant be PM so its moot.

Armia was playing great from the moment he got called up to the moment he got hurt. I'd cut him some slack. I think he probably doesnt have the finish (ha!) to be a consistent top six. But is a strong 3rd line winger that works hard and can generate some chances. Those types are good because they wont be too expensive and he has the talent to fill in in the top six in a pinch but generally caps out as a strong 3rd liner.

Im a bit surprised how much speculation there is on Perreault. He has this new deal kicking in but I wouldnt say he's *that* over paid. He got the deal because he earned it. I like him. On the other hand, if he was gone, I'd not be overly angry just based on the fact that they would have that money for someone else.

The opening crawl of TFA refers to Luke as "The Last Jedi" just as Yoda did, so we can assume its about Luke. Probably the plot has to do with Snoke's attempts to kill Luke. As the last of his kind, he's valuable. There is a "script" floating around that is absolutely dreadful but did contain "The Last Jedi" as the title. Let's hope its fake. It does have Rey falling...her and Kylo swap places in essence. And Snoke is a Donald Trump-like business man. lol Can't be true.
