I've been saying since Year 2 that it was time to bring in a better goalie coach. But True North is nothing if not loyal to the Moose royalty.

NHL Injury Watch 2016/17 season

Myers did skate last week. Nothing was made of it but thats usually a good sign. Petan should be back end of the week or next if previous timelines are to be believed. And Armia is early January, again, if timelines are accurate. Cant remember Matthias. -
That was the point. So the fact people said that I think endorsed the effort.

Nothing but praise coming out of the premieres that audience is easier but it sounds great but Lucas likes it??! Uh oh also TFA was great

And can this thread be interesting discussion without the silly and stupid memes. Just a request.

You need to really temper your man crush on Trump. People disagreeing with him is not a personal attack on you but you sure act like it. Your sensible right leaning street cred has taken an enormous hit due to your unabashed fawning over the guy. Sorry man.

Well that's what I meant lol

I think what people have to realize is when the jets came here it wasn't a matter of all things being equal. It was bad Jets had some nice pieces in Wheeler (was was under performing), Ladd, Buff, Toby. But that was it. No bonafide star. Our third line was the GST Line which was barely adequate as our 4th line the following year. Chevy has put together a talented team with strong assets. But if the 5 year plan takes 7-8 I can't say I'd be surprised. This team is very young still. The idea for being bad and competing within 5 years is that you draft a star and already have some pieces. Jets barely had anything.

I think Maurice gets too cute and over thinks things when it's going poorly. Goes with hunches and trying to be too smart. But I think he's a good coach. Most of the issues have been the veterans not playing well. Change will continue to come. Before the season I did say my concern was we lost too much grit without replacing it. Speed and skill is fine but if you're not lighting it up and controlling the game all the time you're going to get caught. Thorbs is out there fighting every game. That's why he's been playing I think. Not so much the fights but the fact he's pushing back. Or trying to.

Stanley is who they wanted. They traded up to get who they wanted.

Around The NHL 2016/2017

Roslovic alone might make it a win for the jets. Too soon to tell. Funny how they want to compare the two experienced NHL players to the prospects we got. Give another couple of years and revisit. -

The problem is the gun when it's assault rifles and other weapons like that. No one needs for hunting or protection. -
US Open Carry Laws and Gun Discussion

Anyone that says "act like a man" shouldn't be critical of anyone else for gender anything. I mean really.... the issue isn't the responsible well trained gun owners. That's where the debate always falls apart. Because responsible gun owners don't care if irresponsible untrained unskilled or criminals have guns as long as they get to too. That's the problem. -
http://www.cnn.com/2016/12/10/politics/donald-trump-response-russian-hacking/index.html Trump is insane. Disregards his intelligence people when their information doesn't suit him. He won. Shouldn't he be saying damn it if someone interfered let's find out and make sure it never happens again. He's such a poor winner and an even worse loser. The man of the people. With his admin stacked with military and millionaires.

I stumbled across Y&R back in summer 1991 and turned out a few friends watched it too. Mainly because their moms did. It was really good. I came hooked. It was the Victoria/Ryan story that grabbed me and Jack/Victor that kept me. Watched religiously until last year when it became so bad I stopped. They finally hired some writers from the glory years who began this week and I tried it again and it's much better now. Days I watched because some friends did the Billy/Bo pairing was great but once Marlena became possessed by the devil I checked out but Mascolo was very good great screen presence

One of the reasons I stopped watching Days was how's stefano never faced consequences. But the actor was tremendous. Always wished he'd go to Y&R

hows he going to weasel out of this one?

If a player is always in position to score open net goals, he must be doing something right. -

Im usually positive on Stafford. But he's a niche player. He has to score to be effective. He's not going to move down to the 3rd line and be effective. So if he isnt scoring and worse, if he's a liability, then he's not helping us. He might be the perfect type of player for a budget team that can justify the salary to get over the cap floor and add a veteran. We dont need his veteran presence and he's not scoring. Worse, he's hurting right now. Lets hope he gets it together. That being said, its his last year so I dont care about his contract. But if he cant contribute to the team and someone else wants him, trade him. We debated this but if Armia was healthy right now, I'd switch him with Stafford. Even though Stafford wont be effective on the 3rd line, Armia's possession abilities, playmaking and hustle would be more effective on the second line than Stafford is right now. I might even consider moving Dano there to be honest. But again, Stafford ends up in a worse position.
