  1. He has said his plan is to get bigger and stronger and working out a lot so at least he seeks committed to physical fitness.
  2. Probably maxes out as a good 3rd liner. Type of player that is important to cup winning teams Will start with the moose.
  3. I think the Moose are going to see an influx of guys. They are sort of impacted by who can be sent down. I think anyone able to be sent down will be with the exception of obvious guys like Ehlers and Laine. Jets are building enough depth to make guys really have to earn spots. With that comes potential for some unhappy campers and possibility of trade
  4. I'm glad he's planning to head back wherever it might be. Should be a good player. Will take time. But has a good chance to be a really good player.
  5. Interesting. Doesn't playing in the OHL open up some better development opportunities as far as what he can do with the jets?
  6. Yes. Unless he was culpable in some of the bad decisions and this is a defense. If I recall, the defense of people he was suing said Jack Johnson knew exactly what was happening. His actions seem to indicate he's assigning blame so its hard to imagine he was involved in potential scams or fraud. But you never know. From TSN: Bankrupt NHL star defenceman Jack Johnson is accused of being in cahoots with his parents in taking out a string of high-interest loans. RFF Family Partnerships, a California-based marketing company which is among Johnson’s largest creditors in his bankruptcy case, accuses the Columbus Blue Jacket of committing “false representation and/or actual fraud” during the year-old case.
  7. Wade seems like the type of guy who would get pretty tired of excuses. I'd love to be a fly on the wall of his management meetings with MOS and Walters. At some point he's going to demand a severed head on his desk.
  8. There has been accusations that Jack was in on it and only when it all went south did he come up with the "I didnt know" defense. Supposedly he signed some papers in person for some of the deals he said he wasnt involved with. I tend to believe more the side that he trusted the wrong people. But even that defense isnt a catch-all... when you make millions of dollars, you should read what you're signing.
  9. Its a bit frustrating when the opposition always seems to have such tight and aggressive D on us...making our O so difficult. And then when its reversed, our D just seems to never be that tight or aggressive. I suppose its the fault of our O to a degree.
  10. What are options for D Coordinator if Hall becomes the first fall guy?
  11. In a UFC interview Brock had a great line saying he doesn't give a **** what Stephanie thinks.
  12. It's a decent comparable. Will go up for buying free agency years for sure. But keeps it to $6-ish. Nothing outlandish.
  13. Laine, 18, agreed to a 3-year entry level contract worth an average of $3.575 million per season, and that figure also includes a total of $2.65 million in bonuses. Laine’s annual salary is the NHL maximum for rookies on entry level deals.
  14. I'm sure he didn't drive into himself. Terrible accident possibly caused by defective vehicle. He had a steep drive way which the jeep rolled backwards down. Awful.
  15. Tajiri has signed with WWE. Not sure how much he has left in the tank but he was great during his day. Also, charges against Lawler and his fiancé were dropped and Lawler has been reinstated by WWE.
  16. Again, as a layman, one has to question Willy. It's not time to pull the plug yet but can't imagine anyone isn't beginning to wonder if he's the man. Lets say he isn't. Then what? What are the options?
  17. These guys want to impact the lines.
  18. I'm little more than a layman when it comes to football so my observations likely mean nothing. Why does it seem so easy for the other team? Easy to rush. Easy to throw. Always a receiver open. But when the Bombers are on O it's like we're playing the best team of all time all the time. Willy seems shell shocked. Nervous. Holding the ball. Giving up on targets and looking to dump to anyone within five years. When the pressure was less (both literally and figuratively) he played a lot better. Announcefs talking about body language and team not being enthusiastic and feeling out of it so early. Isn't this on the coaches to inspire? I'm not off the bandwagon yet. Lots of new faces. New O etc. It will take time. The D is a concern though. I thought we were supposed to have a really good D...?
  19. Ehlers prefers RE so as much as we assume they keep that line together it might just be Laine as 1LW and Ehlers as 2RW
  20. Matthias-Copp-Lowry. Hell of a fourth line.
