I like the move. It’s basically risk free. Not having a good season but he has a career hear lasts years. He’s tough. Skates well. Still fairly young. It’s veteran depth for a the team. A good move. just hope it doesn’t knock Roslo out of C unless Roslo moves up which he probably should. When everyone is back the jets will have a strong forward depth. Chevy has made good moves that cost us very little. One more Chevy....

So what this means is they want to acquit in the two most serious charges which can carry a life sentence. But it sounds like they are unanimous in his guilt on other serious charges including rape in the first degree.

I kinda flip flopped on him. He seems good but when you dive into the fancy stats he isnt. Better out there I think.

Its a bit weird. If he wanted to retire, retire. If he thought he might want to play again, tell the Jets and cooperate with rehab and eat the suspension. Just seems strange that he's saying 'sure, trade me, I might want to play again' all the while, not skating and seemingly not going through a rehab process with the intent of returning. Oh well. If any team has an inkling he might play in the playoffs and feel he's Buff so he can play even if not in shape, its not the worst idea. If he doesnt come back ever, they suspend him and he costs nothing. Their only risk is paying him to play next year and had he been playing this year, every team in the league would want him. Have to assume Jets have heard some interest to even be trying.

Meh 3+ years. We know he’s a POS. But as far as I know he has a clean record. He’s 67. Non violent crime. It certainly shows the judge was not remotely biased against trumps absurd attacks.
