1. I don't know, you'd have to ask him and yes I am serious. It's late in the game, my opposition just made a circus catch that I didn't get a view on yet, my opposition is all of a sudden running hurry up to get on the ball quick when they should be taking their time so I need to slow things down now, what's at my disposal? Time out or challenge flag. I choose the challenge flag because the bonus is there's a chance it could be overturned based on Calgary not wanting it reviewed. Little bit more than a whim. You'll probably find that very few professional level coaches use "the force" to make critical decisions. I'm thinking that they rely a lot more on evidence, which O'Shea didn't have available to him at that particular moment. The other way to look at it was he made a decision, without any evidence, to let the play go. If he didn't have time to compile that evidence (Calgary rushing to the ball), you simply let it go? No, you use your options to have time to collect that evidence especially being how critical that play was and the time we had left in the game. Yes I risk losing a timeout, the flip side is I risk letting Calgary move up the field on a non legit play.Doesn't the team have multiple people watching? I find it hard to believe no one saw even the possibility of a non catch? I think everyone was mystified by the circus catch. It was very obvious on reply. Id expect someone somewhere to raise an eyebrow at game speed since it's their bread and butterHave you not read the entirety of the thread? And in real speed it looked like a good catch. It wasn't until after the Stamps ran their next play that TSN showed a definitive replay that looked like the ball hit the ground. And those two idiots (Black & Suitor) were still sporting chubbies over the non catch. I believe the replay was shown before he next play. I saw it as a non catch and assumed the flag was coming and the next play then began
We never saw the trap catch on the jumbotron. Only hand fighting snd roll over. And THAT only came after snap.
I saw the replay on TV while watching the game. I realise there was some issue where the Bombers couldn't see he replay. Which is in itself an issue for me. The camera angle was perfect close up showing the trap. It was pretty obvious. Like i said I'm not football guru and I assumed it was being challenged and over turned. Shocked to see the next play happen.
2. @MarkLazerus: Brent Seabrook's deal confirmed at eight years, $55 million. AAV is $6.875.
3. That's possible. I'm going by memory. I just recall thinking oh they will throw the flag....and then **** why didn't they throw the flag
4. That would be bad news. Lol Although if harper wins you will see a lot of people say he's not legitimate because he didn't win majority of popular vote. But if either of the other two win under the same Circumstances, crickets.
5. CTV latest numbers show: 29.6 per cent of respondents said they would pick the Conservatives as their top choice 30.3 per cent would pick the NDP 31.8 per cent would pick the Liberals Meanwhile, 4.5 per cent said the Green Party would be their first choice, and 10.8 per cent were undecided. The results show the three major parties locked in a tight race for the 16th-straight day. But though the parties remain close, the latest numbers also show significant potential for volatility of cross-over support between the Liberals and NDP. Of those who said they would pick the Liberals as their first choice, 49 per cent said the NDP would be their second choice. On the other hand, 48 per cent of those who would pick the NDP first said they would pick the Liberals second. In contrast, 46 per cent of those who favoured the Conservatives said they have no second choice. Harper edges out Trudeau and Mulcair in preferred PM race While the parties remained tied in nightly polling, another Nanos Research survey shows that Conservative Leader Stephen Harper has edged out Liberal Leader Justin Trudeau and NDP Leader Tom Mulcair as respondents' preferred prime minister. The latest numbers also see Mulcair’s trend line for September hit a low. When asked who Canadians would prefer as prime minister: 30.2 per cent of respondents said they would prefer Harper 27.2 per cent preferred Trudeau 24.4 per cent preferred Mulcair 5.5 per cent preferred Green Party Leader Elizabeth May 10.8 per cent said they were unsure

7. @CTVMercedes: Conservatives announce money for Canadian Special Forces, promise to increase elite command by 35%

9. Doesn't change the fact the broadcaster chose to ignore the calls too.
10. I don't think the Refs were paid off obviously. If so they let the game be awfully close. But I do think benefit of the doubt is given to certain teams. The co called circus catch? Meh give it to Calgary. The no end? Meh give it to Calgary. If one ref told Adams he was good and that ref didn't inform the head ref it's shameful and cowardly. And while none of this excuses a bad performance by the Bombers it's still worth pursuing. Also how could no one at TSN go back to the non catch? It's like they were so in love with their narrative of Rodgers that they refused to report the non catch. That's inexcusable
11. @PeterHarris: David Suzuki says @JustinTrudeau told him "I don't have to listen to this sanctimonious crap" over Suzuki's advice on climate change #elxn42 That might be the wisest thing Justin has ever said
12. I didn't see a good replay of it. I wasn't outraged based on what I saw. I thought he would have landed out of bounds if he wasn't touched but can't say for sure.
13. And They will pretend the lower price snuck on them Due to Harper's mismanagement. "We are now forced to run a deficit thanks to Harper." Just like every bad thing in Manitoba is Gary Filmons fault.
14. I'm confused too. People here said there was no force out rule. On Denmark he either kept a toe in bounds or he was pushed out. But no. Yet tonight the rule is back. Like magic. Rodgers doesn't make that circus catch. The no end penalty is bush. Just a conflagration of nonsense against the bombers tonight. Then again had their O done anything in the 3rd they win.
15. There's now a pic of Rogers non catch on Twitter. Not a catch at all. Can't believe MOS didn't challenge. I'm a football lightweight and I saw it immediately. Does no one watch replays for the Bombers?
16. Also people here were saying the force out rule didnt exist anymore when the Bombers were forced out a Couple weeks ago. So what gives?
17. <blockquote class='ipsBlockquote'data-author="Mr Dee" data-cid="156292" data-time="1443242798">

And TSN seemed to agree as they showed the replay and slowed it down as he trapped the ball but the next play got off fast
18. @friesensunmedia: #Bombers CEO Wade Miller, snarling like a pit bull at the heels of the officials, as his team's season goes to the dogs. My column Saturday. Well they have their excuse this week.
19. That big catch by Rogers, did I imagine that he trapped it on the turf with one hand? Thought for sure the challenge flag was coming out. Or I'm crazy
20. At that critical juncture that is pretty horseshit.
21. At the French Debate Harper unmasked Mulcair when he looked him in the eye and said these words, "Never will I say to my daughter she has to cover her face because she's a woman." - Adler But how did the translator say it? Lol
22. In that dreadful ctv interview Trudeau did he got caught on the question of how to pay for his promises. He started off saying well we'd raise taxes on the rich and then realized he also wanted to say they'd lower taxes on the middle class so net neutral. He had no answer for how they'd pay for it. And I believe mulcairs to pay for his promises is "don't worry about it".
23. Actually it's thirst for knowledge that results on leaps of technology and advancement for the species. That's what people who are against NASA spending don't understand. It's not just going to a dead rock, looking around and coming back and oh well. The amount of leaps humanity takes as a result of research and development into something we can't already do is immense. The quest for something bigger than ourselves might be the thing that ultimately brings us together.

25. I was setting my PVR and trying to decide between Jets and Bombers. With Dateline and Blue Bloods and whatever else recording I could only pick one. Instinctively I chose the Bombers since its a game that "matters" and Jets are pre-season but I think I want to watch the Jets more. Maybe catch the Bombers on the late showing, if there is one.
