  1. Politicians really shouldn't be saying anything bad about any race or culture. Not sure why some consider Jews fair game. Jews are fair game a lot of the time. Its very political. Conservatives come out in strong support of Israel so the opposition takes the opposing view point. Very unsettling. Discussed this with a friend last night in face, and one of her issues with the Cons was support of Israel. I said why and she actually said she supports Palestine. I said Im troubled by that and she said well Im troubled by your support of Israel. There's criticism that can be leveled on both sides but goodness...Israel as the bad guys in the Middle East?
  2. Absolutely. I can't believe the NDP sold him out to be honest.
  3. I think you can collectively bargain around certain laws. Such as anti trust etc. I would think this would be one of those too
  4. I'm under the impression U.S. expansion saved the league. No problem with expanding if it's done right.
  5. @EricOnSportsLaw: DA will need to decide if case still goes to grand jury - function of GJ is decide whether Kane is formally charged https://t.co/vvtcJwpqzl
  6. @mrabson: Stefan Jonasson, the Ndp candidate for Charleswood-St.James etc, has resigned after comments surfaced comparing Jews to Taliban. #bn #elxn42
  7. @frank_seravalli: If Zdeno Chara's injury is serious, #Bruins blue line will be impossibly thin. Where could they look for trade help? http://t.co/VtiYWUMowX I have a guess....
  8. The porn lawyer wants the case tossed @SportsCentre: Kane's lawyer Paul Cambria: Case "completely undermined, tainted" by "fabricated" evidence claims, wants it stopped. http://t.co/coyMAhT2jH
  9. When you read or listen to his opinion you hve to read between the lines. He's telling you stuff without saying it. He doesn't make up issues as far I believe. It used to be he sucked because he was fat. At least people are looking past that.
  10. Yes we could.
  11. The other issue is the pics. I'm not doubting their veracity but I am. Angle. Height. Vantage point. They will end up trying to lessen the thick poles and railings but it is what it is.
  12. I agree this case is probably dead. But who tampered with the evidence bag?
  13. Keep in mind the lawyer maintains he believes the accuser.
  14. This is what I'm thinking. Mother thinks she's helping. Screws her daughter. DA isn't going to proceed. I can't see it now. Too much doubt on both sides. But someone did something illegal to get that evidence bag in the mothers hands.
  15. @frank_seravalli: Eoannou, the accuser's lawyer, says "misrepresentations" were made to him about evidence bag and will no longer represent the client. #TSN @frank_seravalli: Eoannou: "I can't say what's true and what's not true," mentions "ethical obligation" to withdrawal from the case. @frank_seravalli: Eoannou says there is "no question" that this is the "real evidence bag from this case." @frank_seravalli: Eoannou: "I don't have confidence in the way in which the bag was found." @frank_seravalli: Eoannou also said District Attorney's office "did not contest the authenticity of the bag," seemingly only the way in which it was acquired.
  16. That's unfortunate because his quitting is going to brow doubt on the victim.
  17. It's actually all over social media and I've read a few news articles on it.
  18. This is nuts. Why the mother lie. Even if she lied she should never have got the bag. This is unbelievable.
  19. Gee I wonder why. No media bias though But wait! There goes another NDP'er @OutlawTory: NDP candidate Stefan Jonasson disfavourably compares Jews to the Taliban. Yikes. Someone's done. http://t.co/4gVvkA45sG#CdnPoli #Elxn42
  20. Slicing his leg open might have hindered his career a bit.
  21. This is a routine complaint. WWE books their heels like faces and their faces like chumps. Lana was super over and Vince LOVED her, turned her and did nothing with her. Absurd. But its a very misogynistic company. The genesis of "Divas Revolution" was Steph tweeting about an acctess (I cant recall who) that gave a speech at the Oscars demanding equal pay and treatment for women. Steph agreed. AJ Lee then tweeted at Steph that she should start with her own business. Steph was furious and Vince talked her off the ledge and made he reply "graciously". Then, several of the wrestlers were pushing more realistic UFC type angles and gimmicks. Vince hates UFC. Hunter and Steph didnt follow it at all. They had no idea who Ronda Rousey was until she was invited back stage (Ronda is a huge fan). They realized she was a huge cross over star and decided they needed their own Ronda Rousey's in WWE. With no clue how to do it, they decided they'd push the really talented new women from NXT with the idea that the "Divas" were damaged as a brand through years of bad booking and bad wrestling. Thats why the Divas Revolution because the "brainchild" of Steph. Because she had to be seen working hard for women's rights. But they wouldnt drop their "Diva" brand name (which is incredible passe) and Cena went to bat for Nikki so she didnt drop the title right away as planned. Then the revolution began to faulter so they moved Steph away from it (cant let her be near anything failing) and ret conned it as a Bella's initiative. Thats how good ideas become **** in WWE. Because they are stupid and let ego get in the way of good business.
  22. Here's a comparable: Alex Goligoski 5'11 185lbs 30 years old Bounced around the baby pens and Pens for a few years. Puck moving D man who had 37 and 31 points at 25-ish years old, traded to the Dallas Stars for Neal and Niskanen. He has better stats than Postma (though Postma had similar if nor better AHL stats in limited action), Postma is bigger and younger.
  23. Well I disagree to a point about the Ziggler/Rusev angle. As a mid card angle its good. Because it actually has chapters to the story. Its something that is accessible to the fans - a love story. It hasnt been very good because its not bring written very well, but that type of angle is historically pretty decent. They just dont let people act "normal". One of the best angles I can remember was Jericho/Christian/Trish love triangle. Very well done (all Jericho's idea too, btw).
  24. Disagree. Still fairly young. 6'3" 200lb puck moving D man. He'd be playing for the Jets if our RHD wasnt so deep.
  25. Intermissions aren't long enough to allow Lawless to ask the players questions. hjahahah can you imagine? "Okay, Lowry, let me ask you something, do you feel you were really uh, you know uh pushing the uh...well because let me tell you what I see out there, uh I see the guys, the players, they're out there, they're uh you know, they're skating and their pushing and uh look, this is the bottom line out there, guys pushing, really uh you know, really pushing the play and I see it like this and maybe this is just me and you can disagree or not but what I see in my uh from my, you know my cheap seats up above the 300's is you know, your line working, working uh hard out there and just pushing the play when you're on the ice and really just, uh you know giving it out there. is that how you see it?" "Yes" "Thats all the time we have"
