Marcel Bellefeuille - When does he get axed
The Unknown Poster replied to Brandon's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
When did Marcel move up top? Didn't they make a big deal about him being on the sidelines this season? -
There's talk of Burmi pushing Lowry down to 4C. That would be ideal in that it would mean the 4th line is really good and getting more playing time. I think Lowry and Burmi will end up being dynamic Together.

Supposedly it came from a Conversation between Bisch and Hogan. They wanted the third man to be a big deal. They teased it being Bret Hart (Hall referred to the third man being a "small" guy). Hogan had to think about it. Sting was plan B. But the story that hogan hadn't decided til he walked out at the show isn't true. Sting was in the six man match. They wrote Luger out of the match but not as a plan B but as a red herring. WCW also pushed the concept of monthly PPV's. They contributed a lot to the industry. And Bisch is very smart. But even he admits he made a lot of mistakes. He was very young. And he was playing with someone else's money. It made no sense that Turner would cancel WCW so they thought they'd never go out of business. But the Time Warner merger took the wrestling people out of decision making authority. There is even speculation that the guy who cancelled WCW was friends with a top guy in WWE.... Allowing Vince to buy a diminished asset with no TV. Vince then Tried to turn around and get nitro back on Turner but his own network activated their non-compete. -
Could Olsen provide some competition for Copp for 4C?

nWo was an angle Bischoff saw in Japan. Lots of things came together to make it work. Getting Hall and Nash. Convincing Hogan to turn heel. Sting was plan B. WCW really changed the business. Competitive matches on TV. International talent from Japan and Mexico. The idea smaller guys could be top guys. -

Didn't Gary just write an article where he wanted OC fired. Lol Also Wade might not *need* the paycheque but that coin is nothing to sneeze at. He wants it. -
Didn't Kruger sign for $1.5? But of a discount.

I'm harping now. But this is THE worst thing of this election.

It's a different era now. They can't book guys expecting them all to be Ric Flair. They can't follow the same formula every time. I think this angle with Rollins is just fine. It's almost a parody of what the fans think of Hunter. It's funny that the same things you complain about are what Hunter uses in his persona. He's a good heel because look how worked up you get. That's the idea! Not really. Im not worked up at all. What I complain about with Hunter are not things that are on-screen choices for his persona. I look at things a bit different because Im somewhat inside the business. But its my job with my promotion to use booking to try and get guys over. Its harder with a small indy crowd too. So I've tried to learn alot about booking in the past 14 years. Im not saying Seth should be Flair. Hunter made himself Flair for awhile and it was great. Hunter was Flair. Evolution was the 4 Horsemen. I have no doubt WWE *wants* Seth to be over. They just cant see what they're doing because they are too inside. And they have a team of Hollywood writers instead of wrestling bookers. And its been well reported that the writers write what they think will make Vince happy, even if its not the best story. Thats how you go down a dangerous path. Things like Sting...when he first appeared before WM, HUGE reaction from the crowd. But WWE thought he was a lousy promo and didnt want him on a live mic in the new era of "scripted promos". The pyschology was all wrong. They had Steph come out in high heels and berate Sting who barely said anything. She essentially said "you suck, you've always sucked and my husband will beat you and prove it." And then he did. Which then makes Sting's motivation to come back at Seth make no sense at all. But WWE rarely promotes week to week because they think the audience wont remember so they surely dont care what happened months ago. Hunter is very smart. And seems good at booking other people. But he cant book himself. And since he's in the Seth angle, its poorly booked. Look at Roman Reigns. They decided he was the next big thing so shoved him down our throats. Fans rejected it. It wasnt until the day of the show that Seth was told he was winning the title because WWE was still determined to put the belt on Roman. Then Ambrose was more over but he wasnt the hand picked guy. If Ambrose had got the Roman push, he'd be the top star. Instead, they try to use Ambrose to get Roman over. I know it sounds silly. But that really is WWE. Its really silly. Youd think they would never leave money on the table but they do it a lot. WCW Invasion? Vince should have just walked to the ring and burned a pile of cash on live TV and saved us all the frustration. I read a thread on another forum recently discussing whether Vince was a creative genius. He isnt. Great promoter. Ballsy businessman. But not even close to being a top creative mind. -

@bcbluecon: Have not seen a single media report on the story I broke about NDP candidate Katherine Swampy's gang-banger husband http://t.co/1LFDnh39i1 Whoops. There goes my pro Conservative bias again. Wait is it a bias when I've admitted I vite Conservative? Well yes it's a bias when theeft get their panties knotted over right leaning opinions. Only the left is allowed to have opinions. Like gangsters are cool.

Absolutely. I found it quite delightful when some time ago he claimed to be close to centrist on the political spectrum. However, it's become quite clear where he actually stands dutifully posting the latest articles from the staunch apolitical columnists like David Frum and espousing the idea of an anti-semitic NDP party. Oh, and the comments of the mostly left-wing media focusing on such trivial matters of the senate scandal. Mostly left wing? I guess if he actually admitted he is staunchly right wing then we might come to understand the genesis of this thought process. Offhand, I seem to recall CTV news - the #1 news source for most Canadians and a centrist/slightly right of centre platform - currently focusing most of its efforts on the Duffy Trial (a source of tension to TUP), did not fail to provide relentless news coverage of the AdScam scandal that plagued the Liberals. Nor did they show any mercy to Stephane Dion, the Liberal candidate in 2008, hammering him with questions on his controversial carbon plan. Following this, CTV doubled down focusing special attention on that poor quality video Dion had released to the public late in the election campaign. I guess TUP chooses the relative safety of MBB to champion his cause since it is safe and easy. Few to challenge him; few to dissent in what seems to be a bastion of mostly right wing posters. Posting history would seem to suggest more posts in this thread than in the entire past 6 months of the Bomber forum. Strange for a football site. Why not post some of these thoughts on Skyscraper Forum eh TUP. Lol

Perfect heel champion if you want a champion the fans dont care about. Its very psychological. You cant have a champion that non one believes is credible. It devalues your championship, devalues your top of the card and devalues everyone he works with. Ric Flair was a great heel champion. And he was presented as credible. Even when the Horsemen screwed guys, it wasnt every match. Flair would work the entire country having 60 minute draws with top guys or beating guys just below his programmed face. And with the Horsemen, Flair's back up were all champions and credible guys. Seth was given comedy guys. Its either Hunter (who is actually very smart) or the bookers trying to recreate the past but not knowing how. When Hunter was in Evolution, they'd gang attack, but Hunter was never presented as uncredible or comedy. When Vince had the Stooges (what J&J are modeled after), they WERE comedy but they were also presented as past legends who were showing Vince how to handle himself in the ring. I think they think Seth gets heat by rambling on for 20 minutes and being a coward but then has great matches. Which is true. But all that does is elicit a face response during those matches. It doesnt stop the crowd from chanting boring when he talks or tuning out when he's announced in the main event. Seth vs Sting is all about Hunter. Its just awful. But WWE has these weird "rules". Lile signing Brock to a huge contract and turning him heel against the fans wishes and jobbing him to Cena in his first match. Just to prove a point. All it did was make Brock less of a draw. -
I'm all for trading buff at the deadline. They missed their first window to get max value for him. Deadline is the best best time. The problem is if the jets are on the bubble. What do they do then? Chevy can't lose buff for nothing. That would be an abject failure.

Rollins has looked awful this whole title reign. -
It's not terrible though. On one hand sure we could have no Ladd, little, wheeler, buff and be drafting top three for years. But we have two "cores". It's why the jets are competitive now and should be competitive for the next 15 years. Hopefully....

What I find sad is how few refugees we've taken in. Guess people get disgusted over different things Yeah, I agree. You've changed my mind. I am now glad the NDP lied and used a dead child to tar Harper because Harper didnt let in enough refugees. WHAT BUNK. Refugees...well, sorry but I dont *really* care. I mean, I do care but it doesnt impact my daily lives. A lot of men coming here and leaving their families behind...meh. I think we should always do what we can to help those in need but there should also be limits. Thats a political thing though. Its a difference of opinion. And it has no bearing on whether what the NDP did was the most disgusting thing of this election or not. Hint: it was.
-
If Mulcair could have appeared on live television holding the body of that dead child, he would have. Absolutely disgusting. I can imagine the NDP sitting around discussing it: "You know what is really sad about this photo of the dead child? That there isnt a photo of two dead children". Sickening. And I actually think thats part of the Liberal bump. I expected a lot more. But most of the country forms their opinion by what the newscast they watch tells to hate or love. And the media just didnt care that much about the lies. $90,000 that the Cons ordered Duffy to pay back? Now THAT is hot news. *rolls eyes*.
-
You're right. If the Cons had not won, there would have been no deficit or recession. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! I mean really. That's absurd. Anyway...that Donnelly story should have been the tide changer but ofcourse the lie was a way bigger story than the revelation that it was a lie. Go left wing media! That was the most despicable thing this campaign by a wide margin and that includes the various bigoted and stupid things NDP candidates have said.
