Jets wouldn't go to $4.3 mill for Frolik...???? Calgary probably matched Winnipeg's offer. All of a sudden re-signing Tlusty not look so bad, better be min wage tho. Rather secure Burni to be honest. But Tlusty is a good player for bottom six

Better opportunity in Calgry? He's pretty much squeezed out of the top six here. Plus if they want a 3rd line winger might be comparing a much cheaper Burni to Frolik

Guess jets didn't want to commit for five years. I'll assume jets wanted 2-3 years and Frolik wanted North of $5m for less term. Frolik does a lot of good things. But jets aren't going to pay a 3rd line player top line money. And I can never be disappointed when they make that decision.

As discussed to death it was a good move not trading Frolik at the deadline. Very very shortsighted if people don't grasp that yet
