yeah I thought Chairot was very good. Others said he had issues, I didnt see but even if he did, this is a green rookie. I mean GREEN. And he's playing these minutes. He's a damn warrior. All of our kids seem to be. bodes well for the future.

I think the Ducks were leaning on our left side D. I thought Myers and Trouba were good. Buff was useless but Ducks seems to avoid him anyway, Need to shore up the right. Chairot did his best but he's one man. Enstrom is great but he needs guys banging and crashing to help him out.

If I saw the Star Wars trailer I wouldnt even be releasing the SupermanVBatman one. I'd be re-working it. Terrible trailer. Fake gravitas. Batman with glowing eyes? Ugh. Wb is risking it all. Batman is the hero people most identify with. The JLA and entire DC universe should be seen with Batman as the central figure, not Superman. I was so giddy to see Man of Steel that I watched some movie my buddy wanted to under the condition we stay and watch Man of Steel right after. Two minutes in, I leaned to him and said "uh oh". They just dont get Superman.

Well if you guys are hockey'ed out, there is some good counter-programming at Doubles Bar that night at 9PM. wink wink

I saw this this morning as well. I had the same reaction. I'm hoping the movie is better. Im not sure what to think of Zach Snyder. I liked Dawn of the Dead and The Watchmen was a near-perfect film. Man of Steel was atrocious but a lot of that was story. I loved the realism of The Dark Knight series of films and I wished they had brought Superman to that world, not the other way around. i do think ben Affleck could be a great Batman but if doesnt stay grounded, its not going to be good. Warner bros has a lot riding on this. But that trailer just want very good. Looked like a mishmash of things I dont care about.

Coaching staff need to manage the game better of Ladd and Little are both hurting. Moving Wheeler there isnt the answer. Move them down if they cant play top minutes. I think it was more Ladd's play bringing down the line. Little is a quiet player normally. As for Buff, this is the biggest disappointment so far. Lots of hockey left but if he plays like that the rest of the playoffs, he is as good as gone in the off-season. We go back and forth on him, trade him or sign him to a lifetime deal. But if he plays like that at the most critical time now, what will he be like four years from now? If Game One was a trend, the kids are alright. And maybe quicker then we thought, this might become Scheif and Trouba's team. And Captain Wheeler ofcourse. if this was decision day, I'd trade ladd and re-sign Stafford. hasty I know.

Ladd was worse than invisible, he WAS visible taking bad plays. I could believe Buff ran out of gas if he had done anything. When FeFe is the guy in the middle of every scrum, getting into every Duck's face, there's probably a problem. Good on him, playing as if he'd been there before. Same with Lowry and Trouba. Chairot played okay but whats he to do when his partner lollygags around all game. Our Left Side D was exposed last night. Wouldnt surprise me to see a change somewhere.

New guys and rookies/sophomores were our best players. Now that the emotional low of the loss is gone after a nights sleep I am left with just the disappointment. Ladd, Buff, Little...where were you guys? Ladd and Little might be hurting? Well get their ice time down then. We need Perreault back in the worst way. Buff looked completely disinterested out there.

I thought wheeler was okay. He shows emotion. I've called him Captain Wheeler before. It's true. This is way more his team than Ladds. Sky might not be falling but these playoffs might dictate some decisions for the team next season.

If buff doesn't show up for game two then absolutely move him up and park him in front. If he's just going to stand around at least do it in front of the goalie. If Ladd is that hurt he needs to have his minutes restricted and play 3rd line. He brought that whole line down. But now it's out of the way. Turn the page. Jets know they can play with these guys. The kids played better tjsn the vets. No nerves. Kick their ass on Saturday.

I know it's early. But I can't believe how the guys you'd expect to show up the most just disappeared tonight. Where's the character of Ladd and Buff? You've hot Scheif, Lowry and Trouba all kids playing their hearts out (bad penalty notwithstanding) and the leaders don't even get off the bus. Perreault needs to play Saturday. Period. I'm just so disappointed in these guys. Inexcusable.

Aside from Stafford and Wheeler the veterans on this team were terrible.

Can someone go to the hotel and wake up Buff and Ladd. You know, our two leaders with cup experience who haven't shown up yet....

Very cool though. I had heard rumours that Vader would be in it in flashbacks. I hope that is the case and this not being his only appearance (though its very cool). I also wonder if the full Vader suit worn by someone will appear as the new trilogy unfolds. You'd think Disney would desperately want to bring back Vader and all the merchandising that goes with it. From what I can put together we dont know who is "leading" the empire...someone must be pulling the strings.

Im by no means a Star Wars expert so I'll be glad to defer to others (Much more of a Star TREK expert), but the way I understand it, Qui Gon didnt disappear because he had not yet learned the secret of becoming one with the force. However he managed to remain conscious after death, he was able to communicate orally but not appear as a ghost. He taught Yoda and Obi Wan the secret and thus they disappeared, able to reappear. Because Anakin appeared as a force ghost at the end of Return of the Jedi, his body should have disappeared. The only Jedi we're seen return as ghosts also disappeared upon death (except Anakin which wasnt shows but doesnt mean it didnt happen). I find it VERY eery and creepy and cool if his skull is still around though. And I'd be all for his Ghost appearing, even if that meant Christianson being used (I have a feeling better writers and directors would get a better performance out of him). Ofcourse, they could retcon young Anakin out of Return of the Jedi and restore the elder Anakin as it should be, really. Also, I suppose since Anakin's ghost appeared to Luke at the end of Return, why wouldnt he appear to him in the time since?

Firstly, can we agree that there will be spoiler discussion in this thread? SPOILERS There seems to be some debate about whether there is a skull inside the Vader helmet. I had heard that last week and it didnt make sense since Anakin's body should have disappeared. It doesnt look like a skull to me. It looks like multiple layers of the helmet. But CNN refers to seeing Anakin's skull inside the helmet.
