You have to wonder sometimes if they're actually in on the joke. They're trying to be Fox News, but the idiot demographic in Canada isn't nearly as large as in the US, so they struggle for an audience. So conservatives are idiots? Thank God Fox news exists or it would be all smiling Obama-is-great rhetoric 24/7. My favourite side story about Sun news was when it was announced you had lefty loons openly asking the CRTC to BAN sun news because Canadians shouldnt be subjected to it. Hmmm..if its so bad, opinions so egregious, wouldnt Canadians simply NOT watch? Thats the problem with the Liberal bias. They think they know everything and increasingly they are being proven wrong. History will look upon George Bush a lot more favourably then it will Obama. Im not a hardcore conservative. Im generally conservative, socially more liberal. But the liberal bias in this country and an extent in the US is off the charts. If big bad scary Stephen Harper ever gets around to instituting all those crazy things lefties said he would, the one thing I'd support is mothballing the CBC.

I was thinking about this the other day. Its perfectly acceptable for right wing commentators to be called crazy even when they are correct. So how about instead of insulting someone, you listen to what he says in that video, come back and point out where he was wrong? Its like Bill O'rielly. He's CRAZY!! Oddly, he's almost always correct though. Whenever he comes up in conversation i find myself qualifying my interest in his broadcasts, almost apologizing. And yet I sit there listening to him, nodding and agreeing with just about everything he says. On the other hand, people who criticize outlets like the CBC are vile! How dare we dislike the CBC! I disgress, Ezra's 30 minute report was very good, very well done, very enlightening. Watch it.

The problem with this is, loosening the rules is great. I support that. Bomber rep told me that a significant number of seats in the north end zone are sold, but that those are the people who mostly hang out in the concessions and drink/socialize. That's why it always looks so empty; the seats are sold but the ticket holders are drinking/socializing. I know many people who buy the cheapest seats and then just stand around the concourse area.

Great game by Jets. Now 3rd in the division. When was the last time that happened? Lowry seemed to struggle a bit tonight. Trouba continues to be a warrior. Scheif finally scores and could have had a couple others. Jets, especially Wheeler need to shoot more. Kane maybe needs to shoot less. Wondered why frolik was not his usual self this season. Lawless revealed he has been playing with a dislocated thumb all season but refused to sit out. Warrior. Presumably he's healed up because he was all over the place tonight.

Did the team actually announce this? Because if so, that is utterly stupid. Its one thing to tell your security people that there are far more important things to worry about then some fans entertaining themselves in a non-violent, non-risky, non-annoying way. But to actually announce it is akin to announcing a beer snake contest. The first few games are likely going to be all about the beer snake. Then it will die off. Hopefully. I will say this, I like Wade's atittude of not being a miserable old, fun-killing fogey. Serving booze later. Pre-game and post game events. Its almost as if he's trying to run a successful business. I'd put Buff on the right side of that line, move Wheeler back with Little & Ladd and Frolik down with Perrault and Lowry. Lowry, by the way, looks more and more like a full marks NHL'er. He's a great example of draft and develop. Drafted 67th overall in 2011 and slowly worked his way up to being an everyday 3rd line centre. Good for him. This week is a big test though. The Jets will get to measure their ability, confidence and system versus the Pens.

Saying it anonymously is a lot different then being subjected to cross examination and all the nasty tricks the defense will play to drag the accusers through the mud. But the two women who have released their names are high profile and respected.

I think i need some legit proof and not the type of proof that involves i heard from my cousins friends sisters brothers best friend who was at the bar at the same time they were. Really easy to speculate and BS but... for accusations like that, need legit proof cuz it's pretty much going over the line in my opinion. From BOGO is a coke head to wheeler punching out kane? Man, i dunno about that at all.. those are pretty bold statements to make with no way of backing it up other than i heard from a friends brothers mothers sisters cousins drunk boyfriends girlfriends best friend. People love to make up rumors with zero proof other than "i know for a fact", prove it if you know for a fact then, prove it or shut the hell up really about it right? But even if true, highly doubt they are.. the bogo the coke had rumor is because people say he has "coke head" eyes.. yup, that's what that rumor is based on, cuz he has coke head eyes... so in other words, i guess its coke heads accusing a guy of being a coke head cuz honestly, wtf are coke head eyes even. Pushing the line there of decency for sure. Ive never heard the cokehead rumour at all! Ive only heard really good things about Bogo within the community. The "punch" rumour I did hear multiple times from multiple people. The fact Kane's concussion seemed to have an aura of mystery around it didnt help the rumours. Bottom line is, Im sure every team has guys who arent buddies on it. We all work with people we dont like personally. Lets hope Kane & Wheeler can make beautiful hockey love together.

Its an interesting case because the public pressure seems to be heading in this direction but the police need victims to make complaints and be willing to pursue the matter. They could certainly investigate and file charges based on gathering evidence of a crime but as we all know, if the victims wont testify, it makes it very difficult to proceed. His PR firms have now dropped him as a client. He's pretty much screwed now.
