I'd love to see Dressler still here as a player/coach if that's possible. Can you do that - reduce their player wage and have a coaching role as well? I seem to remember Ticats pulling something like that

Speaking of Copp... I'd seriously move him up - he played well with Ehlers - put little on as a winger with Lowry and Tanev so they have more scoring punch As for Nylander, I have nothing against the player... I'd make an Ehlers-Nylander trade straight up - not Trouba though

Yup... his numbers are very similar to Copp in terms of faceoffs.

Nylander has been a winger most of his NHL career... he's a Centre like Andrew Copp is a Centre... he looked really good with Matthews but Tavares looks 1000 times better... If you want to try something like that, just put Roslovic between Laine and Ehlers - don't bring in a guy who's already holding out for big bucks

Petermann should end up as our Field WR... guy has speed to burn and abused everyone at the combine - Walters got a steal Adams-Wolitarsky-Demski-Thompkins-Petermann/Simonise That's a solid ratio breaking line up next year... I predict both Woli and Demski go over 1000 yards (assuming we don't have a four game QB slump again)

Maurice overplaying his top guys again - then they get tired... 6 mins for the 4th line... cmon Second line with no points... no pressure...

Vesa looked overwhelmed.... let him watch a few games I kind of see Maurice's plan - if he's letting Vesa and Lemieux watch the games at NHL level and he thinks both are ready... getting used to the atmosphere, etc is prob just as important...

Chevy's done a great job of stocking up on talent... we've been spoiled for a few years Good players on the moose - I just don't see forwards where I say 'he should be in the NHL' right now... Still have four stacked lines no doubt

Randle sure seems to still be a lock down corner lately... he's got some pretty good chemistry with Sayles

Don't think the Canes can carry Mrazek, Darling and McElhinney for very long... I'd wait them out

Why you'd want another 'first line' winger who's already holding out is beyond me. 2) Kulikov played very well with Myers last season until he was injured... super strong 3rd pairing - why not give him more than one game before you trade him for horse meat 3) Im not a huge fan of Cheerios - but Buff and Toby were just not that good together - Buff made Toby better like he makes everyone better - I'd take Morrow on that pairing to start - it was working last year... 4) Im in the Yukon... its always warmer than Manitoba Its Maurice... he's going to try and force chemistry - its what he does... Here's what we can agree on - Myers/Morrow is an absolute train wreck

Ehlers and Laine were way too close to each other for that give and go and give... I've never seen him roll four lines... like ever... he's a guy that relies on his 'go to' guys - CSW for scoring, TLC for checking... Teams like San Jose, NJD, Canes... they all roll four lines to a greater extent than Maurice... his fourth line gets buried some games - that's why Ehlers was promoted before we got to see what could happen...

Its possible that the upfront money to Bowman and to Durant made this impossible... especially with the Bighill and Gray signings - Im assuming Gray has been in the works for a couple months now...
