Its still a bit baffling how Gurley never managed to even really get into a meaningful game situation.

Can't blame Lapo on this one... Harris receiving yards are WAY down this year - Lapo brought back the screen pass that the bombers somehow forgot about for ten years... You look at Nichols' INTs - there are outs waiting for him I'm still hesitantly hopeful - Nichols 'managed' this game.... but for the offence to produce 10 points all game with the insane field position we had. That's scary.

If we're working the run game - which we weren't until the 4th quarter... 20 passes is fine. If your QB is double clutching and scrambling for 3-4 yards, its not. Still, at least its progress... but Nichols scares the **** out of me

I wonder if those early season blitz packages were holdovers from the Hurl era... it really was based on gaps and not QB chaos. Bighill and JSK are just so fast and both really can read the offence... its impressive.

Throwing 20 times is pretty 'not impressive'... way too many double clutches and then scramble for 2-3 yards That being said Reilly was worse.

Fogg - swaggerville game HH - Wolitarsky and Peterman - any fans under-estimating the long-term payoff of two potential NI all-stars is nuts...
