It kind of feels like hoping against hope... but sure would be nice to see Lapo run with a 1a/1b QB rotation through the game with Streveler getting more than just glaringly obvious QB draw snaps... AND bring back the two back sets and misdirection - but no more gimmick plays please.

What are you basing this on? Harris didn't dominate in Game 1...

Banjo Bowl was the chance to rebound already... LDC was a rebound game too... how many more times are we going to trot him out If there was any game for Streveler to start, it was this next one... even if he's not doing anything and Nichols comes off the bench - there's less pressure all around Now if Nichols stinks it up, Streveler goes up against Edmonton. Huge mistake.

We were a desperate team heading into the season with Max Hall and Justin Goltz... Consensus was that Mike Reilly has the 'it factor' Maybe Adams and Franklin are misses but it doesn't mean you shouldn't be going hard after the BPA

Joe Mack could have absolutely made it a bidding war or moved in and signed Reilly. There was no 'done deal' - Reilly would have been coming to Winnipeg as a starter while he was going to Edm to back up Nichols...

I remember this argument... it was the 'why even try' years... There was no 'secret deal' - Hervey was aggressive and was likely the one who offered picks... Then Sleepy Joe just sold it to the fanbase that 'we had no chance'... A first round pick - contingent on Reilly signing - would have closed that deal But as if we could have given up Andy Mulumba for Mike Reilly.

Yup. A good GM closes a deal in two weeks... But yeah, it would have really sucked to miss out on Kris Robertson and Jesse Briggs for a shot at Mike Reilly Edm gave up Haidara and Tchissakid Player... seems like a steal now.

Man - this is full meltdown mode... Nichols had a non-contact knee injury in pre-season. Then was brought off the 6 game early - for what reason I just don't know... We've been Willy'd again I'm afraid... coaching staff has to accept this and run with Streveler for the rest of the season Let him manage the games the way Nichols did last year - he's fully capable - after two games of Streveler, all of this other panic will be subsided and we can get back to calling for Richie Hall's dismissal.

Maurice JUST finished saying that Myers, Kulikov and Chiarot are all fine playing their either side. Laine and Ehlers played their off-wings for at least half of last season... Laine is terrible when he's on the right side. I've never heard of Tanev playing anywhere other than right wing... You're a bit too hung up on this, I'm afraid...

Jets aren't in a great bargaining position with Morrissey... and the talk of Myers on the left side doesn't really sound like a great idea
