We need additional OL help right now... if Hardrick is done for the season, I'd take Rice over Foketi talent wise If he's not, Rice is still a better option that Couture as a 6th OL and I really like Couture. Plus Rice is a max protect specialist
-
Walters absolutely should be making an offer to Landon Rice... he's an under-rated plug n play guy. Exactly the kind of guy this regime goes after. I'd be surprised if Calgary doesn't go after him...
-
Hall has to let Bighill play as a real MLB and not over blitz him... BLM is mortal now but Hall can't let him get rolling - don't give him too much respect Singleton is a monster - I'd run some two back sets early and try to get Calgary second guessing - get Demski in the game - make him the primary target, maybe a long ball to Adams early too If Calgary eliminates the run, it will be a long day... if Harris lifts the team on his back, will be a very close game Need at least one big ST gamechanger - I think I'd try Demski or Thompkins as a returner this game as well
-
Thanks Doctor Nick.
-
Cool you shouldn't even bother watching the game then...
-
I'd start Streveler against Calgary not to teach Nichols a lesson but to make sure he's 100% healthy...
-
He feels hopeful.
-
Can't cut him on 6 game anyway... but I think thats $$ opened up no?
-
If Edmonton played like they did against BC, they won't win another game... If Calgary plays the way they did against Sask, they won't win another game... And so it goes.
-
The 'what a difference a week makes' guy was right.... Jones was about to be lynched after the Montreal loss... Harris was just about run out of town in Ottawa BC just handed EDM their lunch a couple weeks ago Welcome to the CFL.
-
You have to be a Riders fan... Three games against the Riders is probably 2-1 for bombers... Bombers won't lose to Montreal so that's 3-1 Then Esks (x2), Calgary and RBs - let's say 2-2 or even 1-3... still end up 9-9 and that's playoffs
-
I've never really been clear on why Gurley never even got a chance to play here really...
-
Hazelton back on Edm roster... Mitchell healthy scratch... EDM has to be odds on favourite to win the cup - that depth chart is stacked
-
I just don't see the logic of slotting him in as our primary SB... move Thompkins in there and put Lankford as Field WR or something if you absolutely have to Anyway last game was a whole lot of bad... we should be debating why Hall started using Bighill as a Hurlbacker again as much as debating Nichols and Lankford
-
Stoudemire is a very good KR
-
I feel like there was a strong case for 'seriously deluded' even prior to this past loss...
-
Yeah if we're criticizing Osh for being too loyal... Dave Ritchie is not the guy to compare him too - maybe the only guy MORE loyal to his players than Osh...
-
Troy Stoudemire would be an intriguing PR swipe right now... would free us from Lankford as returner... And seriously - bring Denmark back... easy solution - huge improvement over Lankford... already knows Nichols and the system
-
Awe is only there because Elimimian is 6 gamed... no? You really think Chris Matthews would come back here? I'm all for replacing Lankford... but I mean who do you suggest? Carter?
-
Fixed that for you

Same thread as every year... we debate and doubt a player's talent and then at season's end find out that he's been playing injured... Just really seems apparent that he was pulled of six game too early
-
Is that news source Rod Pederson?
-
I would not start six receivers. Just my preference.
-
Well that and a massive shoulder injury... no?
-
I know you're upset that JFG is gone, I understand... he had great hair. Check Demski's stats... he's legit - and that's with 4 games with a backup QB - not wishful thinking Wolitarsky has already shown that he's a performer in the red zone. You don't need everyone to be 1000 yard receivers - you need one key guy who can step up and catch a TD Peterman and LaFrance... if those guys were imports and caught the same balls they have this year... we'd be pumping their tires - instead we're wishing for Corey Washington who has done... um... what?
