If you’re trying to argue that I don’t think Jason kenney is a fascist ******* then you’re barking up the wrong tree... Here’s a better way to put it - kenney got a gimme on his environmental monitoring rollback because of covid no one really went after him or howled about it same as Doug Ford now - covid has highlighted major major problems with privatized seniors care - a big chunk of which Ford pushes ahead last year - but no one seems to be mentioning that because we’re focusing on this ethereal threat of covid rather than the actual clusters and issues within our system read any of my posts at the start of covid - I’m not against a firm concise lockdown - but I am bewildered by large parts of our phase two responses and the second wave bogeyman
-
Haha so just to recap - you cry to the mods about me insulting you then as soon as you have speedflex to hide behind, you call me a ‘trump parrot’ impressive trolling... twist your adversary into a trumper or a truther - cheap tactic that works
-
Bonnie Henry has done amazing work since day one... they quietly set up quarantine triage camps in parks in Vancouver when this started in case they needed to isolate and treat homeless, addicts, etc of any expert, Henry and by extension Horgan have been spot on throughout this pandemic

https://ici.radio-canada.ca/info/2020/06/deces-morts-covid-19-coronavirus-provinces-repartition-visualisation-3d/index-en.html for anyone who actually wants to learn about the covid cases in Canada and the demographic breakdowns - CBC nailed it as usual
-
That’s my entire concern with lockdown - I supported lockdown at the start... but we are watching it morph into government over reach - trump and kenney tearing apart env regs for example... yes kenney would have tried to do it but I doubt he would have got away with it without using the guise of covid
-
https://www.cbc.ca/news/health/who-covid-19-asymptomatic-spread-1.5604353 even WHO experts get shouted down if they don’t tow the ‘fear’ line... theres no second wave coming - all these protests won’t even be a blip in the data
-
TUP is actually referencing how many people he has been forced to re-educate in terms of his version of covid information... as in you are one of the moles he whacked - to talk some sense into them
-
Wow I thought they move it earlier so they played meaningless games in the summer instead of playoffs in July
-
22 states increasing and 20 states declining - whoa stop the presses

Covid could be man made and leaked from a Chinese lab Those crazy conspiracists are at it again... this time is MI6 and a senior Norwegian virologist lying to us https://www.google.ca/amp/s/www.scotsman.com/news/politics/former-mi6-chiefs-covid-19-claims-will-reignite-debate-spans-virology-and-geopolitics-2875102%3famp
-
Well then why did he use covid as the reason then... just say I’m cutting environmental regs and not suspending them due to covid contagion - that’s my f*cking point why did his minister say it’s a great time to build pipeline because people can’t gather to protest
-
It’s a great point except there are two issues - vacation destinations, most beaches and casinos are not actually open (especially in this fashion so it’s comparing apples to oranges) - the question is not whether the protests should be allowed or not, its whether this creates a second covid wave There is actually no one arguing that the cops should or could have shut the protests down
-
Haha I’m just messing with you TUP - for J5’s reading pleasure... you’re right - covid is on the rise and death is sure to follow - at least in Florida where they didn’t have a good cause.., im going to go spend my stock market dollars with my Trump buddies now because I only care about money and not people... trying to remember what poster insulted me like that at the start of covid - his name slips my mind...
-
Haha - thanks I’m okay... it was my mistake to think that you jump onto someone else’s post, run with it, make it your cause, then deflect and finally turtle if anyone questions it because it really wasn’t your original idea i got that strange notion from watching years of your posts but I will reflect and try to see what I am missing - thanks for caring about humans - you’re an inspiration TUP
-
‘And many other states are like this click the thread for info’ Maybe I missed it but there’s no info - Utah has a small spike, New York is drastically lower, etc etc
-
It’s a pretty easy reread to see who started ‘insults’ first... I just pointed out your style of posting - it’s not an insult
-
An observation is not an attack - an accurate observation at that. The same way that citing official statistics is not a slight towards people who have died of covid. Do a quick search of your own posts with the keyword ‘nah’... or better yet post a link to the data you are using
-
Absolutely classic TUP - ‘nah’ whenever you are asked to backup your claims haha love it

Welcome to non sequitur h@ll

100% agree with the first part... however, the second part is a bit off - Italy's 'lockdown' came after its citizens ignored the first lockdown... Again - my stance is against government misuse/overuse of lockdown (whatever form it takes) and this 'new normal' that seems quite unnecessary. Kenney cancelling environmental monitoring because of covid, Palliser cleaning out the public sector under the guise of covid, Legault passing sweeping powers in Bill-61, Trudeau spending like a mad man, etc... Yet - we still haven't addressed or made significant moves to change the way we treat seniors and fund nursing homes...
-
I can't find the spike in cases you talk about - I'm looking at the offical government data, its all we have whether or not we accept their reporting regimes The data indicates that there is no spike in deaths or cases - in fact cases seem to be levelling off in Minnesota I'm open to understanding your stance - but please provide backup data
-
Yeah, I checked MInnesota's stats... there's no wave, no spike - maybe its still coming but you are talking out of your *** currently 1197 deaths - of those 995 deaths are in nursing homes... 550 of those deaths are over 90 (41 over 100) The same statistics as everywhere... just unreal how people can deny this is a 'nursing home disease' when all the data points directly towards that
-
Here's a crazy idea... don't sell food and beer Wearing masks seems to have been proven effective in large crowds (20,000) in close proximity for extended periods... don't see the problem with IGF - except that its not for a 'cause'
-
Ha don't Grampa Simpson me... that's Speedflex's territory. I guess we'll just agree to disagree... The vast majority of critical cases and deaths are in nursing homes - this is an undeniable fact. That makes its primarily a nursing home problem. Not sure how else to point that out. Does that mean we should NOT do anything to protect people? No. Does that mean we should spend the majority of funds protecting elderly in nursing homes? Yes. Have we done that? No. It is a respiratory disease that is spread through proximity and length of exposure - this is a fact (even though there may be other factors - potentially a blood disease, etc) - it is spread through droplets in the air. Yes, that makes it an industrial food, office, tourism, air travel issue... but whether you get sick for several months or not, your chances of surviving covid are extremely high compared to people over 70. I have yet to see the real plan to protect that demographic while the rest of society - the extremely low risk - return to normal.
-
Which leads back to my original question - do you expect a large second wave of covid and resulting deaths because of the BLM protests worldwide? If not why not? I'm not against lockdown but I am deeply concerned with the longer term and global fallout and even more concerned with the fear-based decision making... Our lockdown also accidentally hastened its spread in nursing homes - i.e. the most vulnerable - so we did not quite achieve what we wanted.
