So Myers, Roslo, Armia, Lemieux, 5th round pick Bogo, maybe 1st round, Dan O'Regan, 4th Round, Kasdorf I'll still take this... slightly more even but not much - still a huge win if its a 2nd round pick

Wow, this is a pretty decent move... Statsny is a playoff scorer - like this way better than any Plekanec deal CSW Perrault-Little-Roslo Laine-Statsny-Ehlers Copp-Lowry-Armia That's a really solid lineup

Boon Jenner would be great but CBJ is adding and he's a good playoff guy About the only guy after that is Zack Smith - he's kind of a lateral move from Copp but maybe there's chemistry

Jets need a Centre for Laine/Ehlers or another LHD... not sure what a winger would do for this team

I guess this is my point - we have significant positions changing before any recruitment surprised or vet TC cuts

I agree actually... this could be the new reality of one year contracts calgary is still following their course - cutting vets... probably the least ‘blown up’ i might argue that sask is being accidentally blown up but yes more change league wide than previous years

All depends on how things play out - I don't think we signed Clarke, Gaitor, Roh and Fenner as backups... then Bowman, Lafrance, Demski on offence Moved on from two of our Canadians and two 2017 all-stars So two new HBs, new CB, SAM, DE, SB, possible RB/SB types... new full-time MLB and LG Flipped the ratio to offence in a major way - I'm not against it but it is interesting how much change we may be facing

Hence the ‘kind of’ blew up... but we’re conceivably facing 6 new starters at their position (4 new DB, new SAM and ‘new’ DE) and a ratio overhaul 3 of 5 receivers are new JSK and Neufeld could also be considered ‘significant’ changes to me, that’s more than shuffling the deck chairs - more than tweaking..,

@jeffkhamilton Feeling more than a rumour at this point. Multiple sources tell me #NHLJets are pushing for C Tomas Plekanec, who is scratched for Habs tonight. Word is plan to centre 3rd line w/ Laine and Ehlers, move Copp to 4th line with Lowry and Armia. Intriguing... this would essentially be our 4th line... absolutely need Copp-Lowry-Armia as a checking line in the playoffs Maurice rolling four lines - this is like a long-forgotten dream...
