I guess if the whole discussion is about forwards... we're probably looking at TOI among the league's forwards...
Did I really have to explain that...??
You're getting 'play' and be good mixed up... I'm sure all these guys will play for the Moose at some point... just like Blomqvist and Kostalek...
Right now, the only guy looking like he has a shot at being a top AHL or 3rd pair NHL defence man is Samberg... the rest are all question marks whatever we want to believe...
The rest may be great, may be ok or may be nothing... again, hence the 'if'...
Except every other team has done this as well... and found receivers...
This is like the old Mack 'we don't need FA' argument
If there's one comment in their favour, its Flanders... but he's like hybrid SB/RB
Was just going to post this... I'll never judge a guy by how he plays for Tortorella... you either fit his system or you don't... Jenner would be a great add and still RFA
After that... its pretty sparse - either old, average or bad contracts...
Plekanec would be neat to see as 4C with Roslo and Connor - and Petan is French... so...
NCAA... different development... Poolman, Copp, etc didn't get early contracts either iirc
Anyway, unless something drastic happens the Jets have a solid AHL core... hopefully Samberg and one other can make the jump to NHL
Well if you say he's absolutely not going to get injured or flop... I guess that settles it. Whew...!!
Our last project with enormous upside was Jack Glover...
I'm worried that we're moving on from all three though...
I'd feel pretty good about our ratio with Adams/Dressler/Harris-Normand/LaFrance-Flanders/Givens-Coates/Demski-Wolitarsky
So which OL would you sign then? Comfortable with Neufeld/Couture?
My gut says keep Bond - sign Demski and Lafrance - I know thats not the plan though...
2 OL, RB, 2 REC, S, DE/DT rotation
Should have a good Moose team for a long time if any D prospects come through...
Think Niku will be with the big club next year - not sure who is in line after him though
You should talk to PoMo then... his 4th line plays 8-9 minutes a game...
There has been maybe a handful of games where Lowry has the most ice time - Scheif and Wheeler - our first line regulars - are among the highest TOI in the league... then Little...
There is a clear 1st line and a clear 4th line on this team - depending on the game, the 2nd and 3rd juggle for time
