See, that's all I wanted. But to be fair, GBIll just said there was speculation that the concussion ended it - basically everyone reading that thread understood that the speculation was GBill. There was no need to hijack the thread. And just say you have a source - everyone will believe you. But this is the kicker... we discussed Waggoner's retirment four days earlier on MBB!!! You only went to TEP to argue with GBill... that's fkd up. And something we need to work on.

Fair question then... do you actually have a source to confirm that the concussion has nothing to do with his retirement (yes I know there is a startup company) and that he told Walters about this decision before the draft? Or is this just your opinion that you're stating as fact... something that you completely light up other posters, myself included, for doing?

Sorry dude, this is exactly what bothers me about your posts... its this weird passive-aggressive thing I've never said anything for or against GBill other than he provided TC updates. I mean the guy accused me of cheating on a free football pool with no actual prize at the end... ha - I can see how the high maintenance thing can be there... If all you wanted him to do was 'remain calm' and this is all on him, then why do always you engage him in this passive-aggressive way and why do you continue at TEP? Face it man, its your 'thing'. In a general sense. Literally, every person on this board understands that not every pick is going to work - there is no reason to make it look like you're explaining that to the rest of us. I haven't seen anyone griping about Bomber draft picks since Mack left... and back then, we were totally in the right. Richards was a bad pick, nothing wrong with discussing that. Its not misunderstanding how a draft works or anything its just a case of Walters and MB overthinking their pick and not taking BPA.

Getting pretty clear that Defencemen are worth more than forwards... think a lot of teams start prioritizing D - just not a lot on the market and the price is high

Except no one is actually doing this... again, you're creating something out of nothing - everyone on this board understands that not every draft pick works out 2014-2017 - all Walters picks make sense except for that 2nd round in 2015... even the Waggoner pick is understandable because of his ceiling Yes, I'd like Grozman over Gauthier or Herdman over T-Plamandon but I can understand why those picks were made... the ONLY Walters picks that don't make sense were the 2nd round in 2015 and Walters himself said we went with Richards because of Bellefuile's connection with him.

You have to admit you were going after GBill pretty hard for some time on this forum before that thread... and still are at TEP GBill asked for half his expenses (not all, I was wrong) then everyone did jump on him, he took the bait... then you planned an MBB night and 'joked' about not inviting him... Maybe I wouldn't feel bad for him if his profile pic wasn't Drew Willy's 'deer in the headlights' look... who knows. All I know is that TC reports on MBB last season were pretty sparse.

Actually, no one laughed at GBill's TC camp reports. Mike was talking about sending someone from MBB... then GBill said 'hey i'll go if you pay my expenses' or something Then Mike and 17to85 jumped all over him for thinking he was 'special'... when in reality, no one else was going to go to TC... GBIll started getting backed into a corner... then a few other guys crawled out of their cave... And then MBB never sent anyone to camp... Now GBill is constantly hammered on here for 'acting like we owed him something'... when this whole idea was only planted by Mike. Again, bizarre.

Kriss Russell is Mark Stuart four years ago... he's not a good player. He's a player everyone wants to be good.

Or ask the 14 guys who were drafted in the top 25 selections.... and the four guys in the NFL. If you think Richards is a better pick than Waud or Durant, hey that's cool... I'm sure you have some kind of special insight...

Murray has a very impressive draft and develop record with D... Vatanen - 4th round 2009 Fowler - 1st round 2010 Manson - 6th round 2011 Lindholm - 1st 2012 Theodore - 1st 2013 Montour - 2nd 2014 And I think he can be credited for Gardiner and Schultz...

Morgan and Richards picks are not 'Hindsight 20/20'... it was clear that they were off the board 'over-thinking' picks at the time. Waud would have been a huge upgrade to this team - I still blame Bellefuile for the Richards pick. Morgan is a bit more forgivable because talent was drying up quick... but Huff picking Durant while everyone else over-analyzed things. A bit surprised that Walters couldn't package Morgan for someone... maybe like a NI REC from Toronto - they have razor thin depth at NI DB/LB
