Really like Walters clear explanations about their drafting style...
- Felix M-B is there to reduce reps for Medlock in TC and pre-season, frees up roster spot for another import
- T-Plemanon is there to take long snapping duties in TC and pre-season
- Marouf - fighting for spot on PR
Even picking up another castoff before or after TC is fine for Z receiver
I'd be surprised if Popp is as focused on two NI REC as Barker was... maybe one of Coombs, Noel, Jones is available...
Could have a shot this year... only play Calgary twice and one of those games is the final game of the season so starters will be resting.
I'd say the three games against BC will really define the season.
Richie Hall's D is the weak link - teams can run against the bombers almost at will... a lot will depend on the new MLB - was Bass the problem or the system? I'd feel a lot better with Greg Jones on the roster...
Maybe Westerman-Ekakitie-Nevis-Okpo are the front four that can make up for Hall's deficiencies... but we said that about Sholo-Cummings too...
Riders have 2-3 spots open on their line... Dan Clark is basically your 6th OL on a good team, LaBatte having injury issues
If Meredith pans out, Jones is a genius and has a starting RT... Bladek-Labatte-JSJ-Meredith could be very impressive in 2018
I'm only arguing because Im hammered from my drinking game...
- Colling is overweight and older... more legit competition than Luke... Ekakitie is young and the USA has treated him like ****
- Spooner- bombers don't want pro-ready, thats why they took Gray... but Spooner is the best of this class as long as you can wait a year or two
- Conteh is another good DB/LB - same as Loffler was blah blah last year
- I love the K/P pick
Ekakitie is the best DT available
Gray is the best undrafted NFL prospect
Spooner is top three CIS OL prospect
Conteh seems like the Loffler of this draft
These are really smart picks
