I think its fair to discuss all the ways the Jets didn't make the playoffs in a playoffs thread.

Stafford has no place in the bottom six and is not good enough for the top... same argument Maurice uses against Petan - except he repeatedly gave Stafford chances to redeem himself, which he didn't.

Just the fact that Stafford will not be in the top six, on the powerplay and shootout will make this team better. Worrying part is that Maurice is so archaic in his thinking... really see Connor/Roslovic buried on the fourth line for most of the season because Matthias-Lowry-Armia is such a 'special' line.

Chevy seems to be gunshy of the cap as well... maybe overthinking it a bit too much? Or maybe it really is that hard to get players to sign in Winnipeg... Basically, he's accidentally created the mid-2000s oilers... now he needs to sign a Talbot and a Lucic.

If you look at the Forbes business overview of the Jets, sure looks like the internal cap is about $62-65 million...

Don't quite understand the logic... if Senior's NFL interest is waning, why would he drop to 15 but Ankou and Gray still go top 5?
