I totally agree... just saying it sure looks like he'll be drafted by an NFL team. Can't see picking a guy first overall who'll likely never show up... Combine coverage was great... No change in top guys... Behar, Vandevoort, Wright, Woodson Hoover, Carter, Larensse probably upped their stock

Trading two picks for a longshot prospect who is another big slow D is a wasted pick. If Trouba is not signed this summer, expect him to be traded at deadline or to holdout again in 2018-19 Yup, both Helle and Comrie used to be rated as better prospects than Matt Murray... two great prospects who are having serious development issues.

Sad thing is that at this time last year, I felt fine with the 'growing pains' and was still excited to watch the young guys when Petan-Copp-Armia really had chemistry, Helle looked great, Maurice was rolling four lines, Tanev looked like a great fourth liner, Morrissey showed up for one game, Dano and a 1st for Ladd... It felt like the Jets were close to turning a corner - like that season was a blip. This season - our D callups are worse than awful, 1st round pick wasted on Stanley, huge questions about Myers and Trouba's future with the club, huge hole in net, Thorburn still wasting space, Stafford for a garbage pick, Lowry getting more ice time than Laine, PK and PP worse than ever Chevy's taken the 2011 Thrashers... and turned them into the 2011 Oilers.
