My predictions for the game... Thorburn fights within the first seven minutes - no one notices Enstrom coughs up the puck in the corner, uses his super-long stick to deflect the shot into our own net Stafford gets a solid offensive zone hooking penalty - PK holds Van off for 37 seconds Goals by Scheif, Lowry and Laine Jets squeak it out in OT - Ehlers gets the winner...

All Petan does is perform and everyone is still ready to send him to the Moose... its crazy, the guy's fancy stats say he drives the play better than Armia - actually better than most of the team. LSE Petan-Little-Wheeler Perrault-Lowry-Armia Matthias-Copp-Dano Thats your best fancy stat lineup...

We 'developed' Kevin Glenn. Traded our first round pick to get him, developed him and then cut him for nothing.

In a rational world, Petan-Copp-Armia is our third line with Matthias-Lowry-Dano as fourth

Walters is kind of painted into a corner... he gave Willy '$400k' so Nichols deserves at least that... Meanwhile Buono probably has Jennings for $250k for three years or something crazy...

Good to see Ehlers score, Perrault finding chemistry with Little and Wheeler and Dano/Tanev/Lowry/Copp busting their asses... OTOH - PK still brutal - hate this collapsing box... Stafford still floating, Thorbs still reliable for one badly timed penalty and Enstrom looking more and more like he's lost a step... Nice to see the Jets beat teams they are supposed to beat. Keep it up in Vancouver now.

I'm actually not saying that Nichols is a bad QB... he just reminds me of Glenn. The difference between average QBs and star-power QBs is bonus $$... Nichols prob gets around $275-300k base (prob $125-150k of this in signing bonus) with bonus up to $425-450k (obviously including grey cup win...)
