Ha HA... that's pretty good timing. I really like this forum, its actually only you and Mr Perfect that have ever posted personal attacks... it was surprising actually.

I'm not up in arms at all... I thought you were. Before the Sask trade, I thought we should bring in Gale as an FA... same as I really would like to see GJ Kinne or Jordan Lynch here, talked about that too. I've been on the forums a long time - this season is the worst in recent memory... I haven't seen negative comments about the forum itself and personal attacks on posters since the Kelly days. For instance, back then Mike used to argue a lot with people about real football issues, now he just lurks until someone makes a mistake... and then its 'ha, got you'...

All I know is that I haven't seen a Bomber QB help his team bounce back after a late game score since Willy's first first few games in 2014... deserves a lot of credit for that. I really don't like the way people are diminishing his game. I'm really not a Nichols fan but he made smart plays/reads, survived the classic 3rd quarter blahs and went for the long ball when he had to... this is all we were asking. If Willy was starting, we would have come close but today this board would be full of posts about 'what could he do without Dressler and Adams'... 'Hardrick got abused by Howard'... and cursing Lapo for never calling the long ball.

Hmm, I could swear I saw him playing tackle a couple seasons ago... I mean, of course, you must be right - he's probably never started any games... you haven't provided any sources but you know football.

For a starting NI OL and Gale, I would have absolutely traded Westerman... you can read that later in the thread... I also would have confirmed that Sewell wasn't about to retire before signing the deal, ha. No one said Westerman for Gale... just another cherry-picking lie...

Its actually pure garbage like this that really disappoints me. Just a straight up lie... Go read the posts if you want... When anyone, including me, suggested Gale, they were crapped on because 'he's not good enough for anyone else'... just like Messam was 'crap' until he wasn't. etc etc etc I suggested a Westerman or Andrew Harris for Trevor Harris trade... like for fun... but of course, the same tired crew trotted out to laugh and high five - who RIGHT NOW is not even enjoying the win because it wasn't Willy leading the team.... I've been on the forums since Mike Kelly and honestly I've NEVER even heard of fans making EXCUSES for a bomber win... in EDMONTON. This place really has lost its mind.

Maybe Adams had shoulder issues all along... would explain his reluctance to block and not laying out for catches. He looked good last game, like Adarius Bowman potential... Huge difference this game was Jace Davis and Kohlert blocking on the inside lanes/run game imo.

Nice analysis. Feels great... Bond at Guard. Kohlert at SB. Loffler at S. Corney in rotation. Love it. Great seeing Harris run outside. And just run. Hardrick is upgrade at tackle but needs some work. Frederick proved why he was on the PR... plug and play. Great find. Hope Dressler's okay, guy plays with heart. Like Mayo to get another shot too. I'd still sign Denmark though... he had chemistry with Nichols. Lapo's adjustments still a concern. Hall still soft but some nice blitzes. Osh's ST had a nice game. Wild and Westerman never have bad games. Nichols still throws a few floaters but compared to the rest of his game, I'll take it. The team sagged and Nichols brought them back - that's basically it. Wish Willy luck... with another team. Like to see Davis as backup.

The OL had success tonight because of Bond but also because Nichols didn't crumble after being pressured... No happy feet, no pressure... its a basic equation.

Nichols still makes some bad decisions and throws a floater here and there.... but man its nice to watch a team not fall apart.

Totally agree... but too often players are written off just because we didn't sign them on here...

You think Willy is still a good QB and blame everyone and everything else... but I don't understand the game. Sure whatever. Honestly, I really don't think Ottawa will trade Harris, yup I'd still like to at least consider what it might take to get him - I do think Desjardins would trade him for the pieces to win a cup NOW... and no Hank isn't retiring until he wins a cup. There's definitely a small core of people that are very negative about this site... But when I look at the main page... there are threads started by eight different posters and the latest responses are from 12 different posters... Trouble is when you start a pure football thread then Mike, Atomic, Mr Perfect and that crew show up and start picking apart your posts without actually adding anything to the topic...

We had two decent QBs in Marve and Elliott that needed a lot of help... instead it feels like we took their run and gun style and tried to change it into pocket passing dink-n-dunkers. Similar to what Montreal is doing to Cato and even Bridge right now... At least, Wally recognizes Jennings for what he is. I guess we can't really recognize Toronto for 'developing' Gale since they dumped him and went with McPherson... Very simple equation in the end - Bomber's don't spend enough on scouting... the end.

I agree to an extent... But TO and BC are hardly stable in terms of personnel... I would say they are stable in terms of scouting and head coach... TO has completely changed their OL and their receiving core while still pumping out QBs... BC is still kind of a mess with OL and REC The big question mark now is Montreal... if Popp 'develops' a QB in one season, which looks to be his goal, then that makes the bombers organization look pretty bad Just don't understand how Goveia ends up here and all we grab from TO is Portis and Adams... how did he miss Gale? Danny Mac recommends trading for Brohm? Why not Masoli or Matthews?
