The bombers need to stop wasting seasons on QBs that have proven they can't win... TO let Harris go because he didn't look like a world beater at the end of the season... Bombers re-upped Nichols because he stepped in and went 2-7. Why are we supposed to expect different results this year? I mean Brohm was awful, so we re-upped and then he was awful the next season... Develop a fkn QB already.

If Henry Burris is back and rolling... you don't think Ottawa even considers a major upgrade to its lineup for their backup QB? Let's say you offer Andrew Harris and Westerman for Harris... you're rolling the dice on Burris staying healthy but those two are probably what puts Ottawa over the top to win the cup.

Wally wanted to change Harris into more of a blocking/utility back. Harris still thinks he can be an all-star so he left. And now he's a glorified blocking back in Winnipeg... go figure.

Still think we see Bond at C sooner than later. The fact that we are carrying two injured import DBs on the 46 is kind of an indication of our depth. I'll say one thing... we really deep at backup linebacker...

Whew. I was about to start posting pics of Ricky Foggie.

Compared to the ol' days... that's pretty good. Think of the 1990s... Tom Burgess was terrible in Ottawa, Tracy Ham was awful in Toronto, but you'd never connect those guys with awful seasons thinking back... Winnipeg was led by a busted up Matt Dunigan, Damon Allen was an awful passer, Kerwin Bell and Reggie Slack were the 'next ones'... I'd say CFL QBs have never looked better across the board... except in Winnipeg. I will also say that if Logan Kilgore steps in and burns up the league, I'm going to lose my mind.

Pretty funny post in a season where backup Trevor Harris is lighting it up, third-stringers Gale and Jensen just had an awesome QB duel and Masoli (another third stringer) set a league record for completions... Jennings is starting to hit stride, Reilly and BLM still look real good... Last season, Burris set a league record for completions and there's, what, four absolutely dominant QBs in the league? Scoring is up... its really not so bad... You're getting the CFL mixed up with Winnipeg...

On the upside, Kyle Walters never let Trevor Harris leave while relying solely on an aging Ricky Ray with an unproven backup... so that's something.

He's an excellent free agent signing... Walters is very good at free agency. Willy 'should' have the tools to succeed. But it still doesn't change the fact that eight years and three regimes since Kevin Glenn, we have no QB and suspect OL starters/depth. This is the core of any team.
