So Carter doesn't have a concussion but is being treated for 'headaches'... I see. Should be a shootout tonight... feel like the RedBlacks lose because of Grigsby fumbles... -
Depth Chart is up - Johnny Adams listed on roster

Let's not get carried away here... -
Hurl had proven he was slow in Saskatchewan before coming here... Bass is a better player. Hurl was in the gaps but not able to react. The real difference is that Ian Wild has the speed to make plays at MLB... Bass hasn't shown that yet.

Our teams blocking has been pretty good actually... -

Surprised that Mayo isn't on... nice to see Adams back. Corney still dinged up? Have to assume that Randle and Posey are playing boundary and not field... Roberts and Fogg against Walker and Bowman is not going to work. Dressler at SB is better. Love to see Davis at WR and Mayo in at SB though... -
Or just sign someone better than Enstrom for $3 mill a year... or trade for one. I honestly can't think of any team in the league where Enstrom is their #1 pairing... and he's getting paid the same as Seabrook.
-
So you don't think Morrissey, Trouba or Stanley are going to develop on the left side? Enstrom has no place in the West... he was good in the East, that's how he got this horrible contract. And weren't you just arguing against signing 33 yr old Hamhuis to two years at 3.25...?

We don't like Henoc now? Or was that the equivalent of calling your ex at 2am...?
-
I'd have to say Wild... smaller but faster and makes incredible reads Look at Stubler's D - Greenwood and Raymond make all the plays, MLB just clogs up routes and reads... Muamba would actually look really good in this D
-
No win situation... Taman would have been crucified if Stegall was cut for cap management...
-
These contracts might have looked good a few years ago... but 'good' Dman contracts are trending down while great ones are going up... Now its hard to tell Trouba's agent that he's worth less than Enstrom and Myers... but then you're stuck with $23 million in capspace for your top four Myers and Enstrom's cap hits are comparable to Duncan Keith... Roman Josi and Hjalmarsson are locked in at $4m a year... those are great contracts...
-
Really wondering if this has more to do with Hall's strategy... I'm no fan of Hurl's but he used him in a similar way, just filling gaps
-
Back to an all import secondary... Randle-Fogg-Harris-Posey-CJ Roberts So weird how DB seems to have gone from a position of strength to a big question mark.
-
Blame Taman... sigh. After the Joe Smith trade, that was a team on a roll... If you give Taman and Berry another season, we're not in the mess we are now... his 2008 draft was actually really good.
-
Kichton was second leading scorer and still -23... those aren't good stats for a Dman 9 goals for Petan counts as 'struggling'... You can't blame Harrison, Raffl and Halischuk when they barely played... There were some flashes of talent but that team never put it together
-
Like as in ISO is a distant, distant second. ha
-
So he just takes what Chevy gives him or sits out the season? I thought the team could file for arbitration...?
-
Sask should sign him... he's a short yardage specialist.
-
Holy.. you've turned into a negative nancy.
-
That's a rectangle.
-
Olli Maata = six years at $4.1 million, Reilly = six years at $5 million Trouba at $4.5 for six years makes a lot of sense but that makes him the lowest paid of our top 4 I can see Trouba going to arbitration for a two-year bridge... I wouldn't negotiate a long-term deal based on last season Looking around the league, its really apparent that Enstrom and Myers do not have 'great contracts'

Never forgive Mack for trading the pick that was eventually Eddie Steele for the rights to Alex Brink.
