Reimer would have been a nice trade for Pavs... but just for sentimental value... Only goalies that were worth going after in the last few years are Martin Jones and Cam Talbot. Chevy could have signed one of them and still kept Pavs, there was cap space... Still would have liked to see Hamhuis here - really want a steady D core to make sure Helle succeeds.

I haven't rewatched any games this year but what I noticed is that Macho and Fogg have a real tendency to backpedal even more after the snap, I don't see Randle or the other DBs doing that Hall already plays a soft zone... but its made softer by Harris and Fogg moving even further back, possibly worried about their speed compared to receivers? Don't know.

Lapo has always been a fan of the receiver sweep... used to do it with Terence Edwards all the time, never liked the call, a lot of lateral movement Maybe a sweep to Jace Davis might work, he seems fast - but yeah, keep it simple, let Harris do his job in the redzone... just like we should have let Marshall do his job last year...

Some neat position conversions... but so far no receiver to DE, interesting.

Did not understand the goal line sweep to Ryan Smith call... reminded me of 2011 when we'd do absolutely everything in the red zone except give the ball to Reid.

If talking **** is a legit concussion symptom for Carter, then if I'm the CFL, I would ask Montreal to sit him down for concussion protocol every time he starts beaking off... I'm concerned for his long-term health.

Goossen and Chungh did pretty well against Hughes and Smith... we'll see how they can pick up Lawrence's blitzes but I don't consider the OL as our biggest weakness anymore.

Carter appealing his suspension... if hearing isn't held before next game then he plays. If he appeals based on concussion protocol, how can any player ever really be 'cleared' in a game then? If I know the CFL, they'll make a rule where the player has to remain motionless on the field until staff can get out there and clear him after a head shot... This is nothing but bad

Then Logan and WhiteOut completely derail the thread by going to total extremes... then 17to85 has an argument with I'm not sure who, ha...! Then Mike jumps in with an 'I Told You So'... Love it!!

I really like that Walters makes a splash in free agency but I do think we manage to blow up the team almost every single year... starting in 2008... I know money is an issue and the team needed a jolt but do you really need to cut all of Turner, Denmark, Bucknor, Washington, Cotton, Shell, etc... I agree with upgrading but we seem to have a new core every year. Is Macho Harris any different from Lin-J Shell? Is Brendan Morgan a better safety than Bucknor? Adams a better slot than Denmark? Cotton versus Flanders? From what I see, we only really have one returning vet that is in the exact same position as last year - Bruce Johnson... Randle, Westerman, Bass, Leggett have all been moved around... just wonder if that isn't a factor.

Like besides Chris Jones... I think Graig Newman was a DE for a while too
