I'd still make that trade for a healthy Matt Sewell and Gale... a 'backup' to Bourke and his footwork is fine, better than Neufeld's that's for sure... and he's a better guard than Hardrick. Sounds like he's got business interests in Ontario... surprised Murphy didn't realize that if it is true that Sewell ditched Tennessee for Toronto.

Move Leggett back to the secondary already!!! Put Burnett in at SAM... way better option than starting a guy that we just signed...

Could be wrong but I think we were playing Wild-Bass-Hurl for a while to try and stop Messam... Right now, the only thing that I can think of to stop the bleeding is: Randle-Leggett-Harris/Loffler-Fogg-Johnson Bass-Muamba-Wild/Burnett Westerman-Shologan/Thomas-Cummings-Corney/Hubbard Shaylon Green had one nice play but I still don't like his game. Bass not looking comfortable at MLB - might be Hall's schemes Might as well get Loffler some reps... maybe he grabs the job. Wild has shown he can cover, I think he can handle SAM. Get as many Cdns on D... play 3 INT OL and Davis-Smith-Adams-Mayo-McDuffie

Totally agree... but instead we will play Nichols for the rest of the season and throw in Davis for a game or two at the very end. Play the starter until we've destroyed any confidence he has left... then run with a mediocre backup to save your job... then declare your third stringer the new starter even though he's had no real game time... Blow up the team... sign a 'decent' QB (but not the best available)... rinse repeat... Its the bomber way.

Both Walters and Oshea will be great CFL guys... probably with other teams unfortunately. Osh will light up the league as an ST Coach somewhere Walters should have spent three more years as asst GM to someone like John Murphy or Paul Jones, etc...

How bad can it get? Hmm, fire OShea and make Lapo coach by game 8... then sign Lapo to a 3 year contract after the season... Willy gets hurt by game 4, Nichols finishes the season while Davis and Bennet wait... then Willy starts next season...

So Wild, Bass and Leggett are all mediocre players now? Same with the Dline? Talent is there - Richie Hall's system is crap, Lapo and Willy are not on the same page at all and Osh can't manage a game.

No one said cut Willy and sign Harris... I wanted Harris signed as insurance, just like Ottawa did - its paying off for them now... If Walters does not re-up Drew Willy early, then there is room to sign Harris... you have a legit 1A and 1B and bargaining power. Huge mistake. Nichols might have 2-3 good games before teams get enough film to jump routes regularly. ...And we replace over half the roster every season... maybe that's part of the problem.
