No one is under-estimating Montreal... Glenn is a great QB but our DL was supposed to throw him off his game - they didn't. Offence was supposed to be competitive. Coaches should be able to manage a game. Sick of play calls that totally rely on YAC, sick of soft zone, sick of crappy clock management.

Winnipeg is not the place for a QB to rebuild confidence... ask Kent Austin. We never win in Calgary... so if they manage to pull that out of their ass, maybe the season starts looking good. But if Willy is still over/under-throwing receivers and our DL does not eat up Calgary's OL, then we're in for a long haul.

The scariest thing in that game was the clock management and play calling in the last drive. Seems like Osh has still not got a handle on game management..

The problem is that the personnel seems to be there this year... with the exception of Willy. There's no one left to blame. All-star LT, all-star RB, all-star REC, starting CDN RT, very solid CDN REC... If this is the third year of 'working on our effort' that's on OShea.

Double like. OL seemed pretty decent... even with Neufeld and Hardrick - neither of which I really think are the best talent out there... Willy had time, Harris blocked well, Jace Davis even blocked... but when the OL has trouble Willy crumbles.

Wpg could have had Kevin Glenn... keep in mind that we went first with Brohm instead of Glenn as a backup and now with Nichols (who we will see very soon). We all have known that Willy has been injured every year... now he looks shellshocked... Trevor Harris, Burris, Collaros, Reilly, Glenn... all QBs that this organization either wouldn't or couldn't get the deal done... all starter talent

Agree that Chevy overpaid... Surprised that he couldn't get a higher second pick than 79th... but its a LHD prospect that is a giant with home run potential. Can't say that Chevy is sitting on his hands. I just can't believe St Louis let Elliott go so cheap... might as well have just given him to Vegas...

The positives OL looked pretty good. Harris is great at everything. Randle's still got it. Medlock is a huge signing. McDuffie looked good... but so did Stoudemire... and Washington... and Perry Floyd... poor Perry Floyd The not positives Willy looks finished. Oshea looks finished. Glenn defeated our pass rush. Easily. Richie Hall still calling soft zone D... bending aaaannnddd eventually breaking. Osh, Lapo, Hall and Buck = great coaching staff for 1996. Bass was surprisingly not great at MLB. Panic button officially pressed.
