Strange logic... Brohm had started one game in the CFL coming into this season. Marve had one as well. Now they each have two... is this really a big difference from someone like Franklin or Cato who started raw?

O'Shea doesn't hold his players accountable for what they do on the football field. Me neither... but what other ex-player do you see going on twitter openly questioning his former team? Maybe Morley just discovered twitter and is bored.. hard to say. Either way, its not the way things should be done. Its not a big deal I guess... its just that Brock Ralph and Steve Morley were really the two biggest symbols of the rot in this organization... its strange that he is now a sounding board for fans. Why not ask - why didn't we cut you in 2011? Just the fact that we are lamenting Morley's departure now is really quite sad.

But look at the core of the cover team - Rempel (33), Pontbriand (32), Shell (33), Cronk (28) Our gunners are Shell and Morgan - how does this make sense... Jones, Sherman were our best guys last year - after Unamba, Sears, Randle, Wild... It was a garbage punt but Pontbriand and Cronk missed their gaps. morgan and jones are both very good but raw.. both have made a huge play in back to back games.. shell cronk and rempel are experience but shell is the only one worth his role imo. get wild here asap to dump rempel.. only good thing he has brought is snaps.. The real issue is why is our entire PR unit (except Shell) made up of Cdns... we have good, fast imports that can do this - Simmons, Bass, Randle... Personnel decisions are hurting this team I actually disagree with both of you. The "core of the cover team" really isn't guys like Cronk, Pontbriand, and Rempel. They're in there for blocking, or in Cronk's case snapping. I don't think the problem is Canadians either. Simmons played some special teams today anyways, and I think Randle did too. Why play Bass when he's such a good LB right now for us? I'm talking about that play specifically, it was a shitty punt so our gunners were out of position... but then there's no backup... watch the highlights - our guys are too slow to react. Maybe its different if Simmons and Stoudermire are your depth ST or if Randle and Jones are the gunners Just saying half of our ST cover team is old and slow.

Interesting that both Marve and Brohm's post game interviews talked about not having 'big plays' and need to figure out a way to get them...

So, on the Demski return... and we can blame it on a bad LH punt for sure (then again, there are no other options right now... hello Ricky Schmitt) Here's the cover team Jones, Shell, Briggs, Waggoner, Morgan, Sherman, Newman, Pontbriand, Rempel, Cronk... Who do you think Pontbriand, Cronk and Rempel are going to chase down if the returner gets past the gunners? Maybe its not Pat Tracey's fault after all...

So imagine watching a winning team slowly crumble (except under Murphy instead of Taman...) then be blown up, when it was still 'okay' but having QB problems... then be blown up again (Reinbold)... then be rebuilt (Ritchie) to slowly crumble, then be blown up (Ritchie fired) then blown up again (Kelly hired) and then never be rebuilt... No matter what anyone says this is the team Winnipeg deserves... cheap. We got a deal on CEO, on the GM, on the coach... we can all high five at Earl's about how much money the bombers have saved in management over the last eight years.

Well, that's the point.. the last time this happened, we signed Steve Morley for $100k+ as a free agent that no one wanted.

Only thing that might save this team is signing Muamba - but thats a longshot... Need a spark somewhere... when Johnny Adams is taking 'frustration' penalties and Leggett is just an 'average' safety... something's up I'd say right now, Westerman is the only thing holding the D together - and they are the foundation of this team

Its funny how Steve Morley has ended up being the leading voice for change this season, except that he's kind of the symbol of the downfall of this franchise...

Brown has the best analysis of anyone... and then Irving puts a positive spin on things ha Hall's D has progressed and he is blitzing more than any Hall D, I've ever seen... that being said, they're still 'average/above average'

The running backs were given an opportunity to carry the ball throughout the game and what did they manage. 2 gains of 5 yards with the rest falling in the range of 0 - 4 yards gained. You go on and on about the lack of running plays every week despite evidence that the team is gaining very little from the run. If they called 4 or 5 more runs a game they wouldn't end up gaining any more significant yardage and the drives would still stall. The o-line is simply not good enough. But go ahead and insist that the Bombers should call 25 -30 runs a game when they average 3 yards a carry. Winning strategy bud. Look at the running plays Chapdelaine called and the ones MB called... everything bombers did was up the middle, Chap spread it out - thats how you commit to the run

We were sending Randle on blitz a lot today... pretty much the same role as Sherman last year If Randle is down, we have no backup - its Lin-J Shell or Sherman... you pick.
