Last time I looked it was the coach that does the cutting. Looking at the past couple years, I'd say the Asst Coaches have a fair amount of say in personnel... Still, its Walters who should make the final decision - starting to look like things are a bit too 'collaborative'

Once Brohm bounces through the first half, Davis throws four INTs and then Nichols gets annihilated behind our OL... Marve might make a miraculous recovery...

We stitched Pierce together and then Willy to keep playing games... Then Marve is 'nicked up' and gets 6-gamed. I just can't think up a slow developing leg injury unless he injured his hamstring in the first game (when he cramped) but 6-game for hamstring seems strange too. We know its not his ACL...

What's worse this time around is that you could see Mike Kelly was a mistake, you could see that Mack was a mistake but I was really cheering for Walters/OShea even though we were really following much the same pattern as other years...

Maybe his knees really are gone... whole thing seems weird.

The most depressing part of all of this is that you could easily substitute Pierce, Brink, Elliott, Goltz or Lefors, Bishop, Bramlet, whoever in any of these threads and not miss a beat... so sick of this.

I think that's why teams are so willing to give them up. And if you have a player that you aren't planning on using and whose salary is now guaranteed, why not get that salary off the books and potentially add a Canadian asset? True, just surprised that Simmons can't even rank a 4th or 5th rounder

Can we trade Nichols for Simmons? And then can we finally fire MB when Nichols gets hurt after two games? After all, he is a pocket passer that will 'fit' the system...

Just the fact that Brohm is still here is the problem... he should have been cut long time ago, at least Michael Bishop could complete a pass Brohm is 30 and has not put together one drive this season. If his mind is broken, well, thats life... Epic fail by Walters and crew I have to say.
