Daniels was awful tonight... why not try Bryant-Greaves-Picard-Chungh-Neufeld Bucknor at CB, Kohlert at REC and rotate Hurl/Thomas With Pontbriand or Cronk, we sometimes have 6 NIs on the offence... tonight I saw Brown, Hurl, Thomas, Bucknor all on the field at the same time - there is no way this is the best lineup available

No, the plan was to anoint a Cdn MLB as our starter even though he lost his job halfway through last season with the same DC we have now... and not have a backup plan. Etch's constant blitzing with Sherman worked better than what we're doing this year...

Miller has to arrange a CIS intervention and explain that our Cdn depth is just not there yet, stop pretending.

I an beginning to wonder how much of these problems can be attributed to the O-line guru Bob Wyliey. I am not convinced that the O-line problems come down to personnel but moreso play calling and system. How much of that falls into Wylie's lap because they had no answers for what Hamilton was throwing at them today. Bellefuile is the root of the problem... Wylie cannot call a screen or a pitch - teams know that MB has no response to blitzing other than max protect - watch the playcalls, there's almost never an 'out' - RB is either locked down blocking or we've emptied the backfield I was referring more to offencive blocking schemes in general as being faulty. I watched one play were two Bomber receivers setup up across the line from a Ti-Cat LB, they both ignored him, split their routes around him and rewarded him with a direct bee-line to Willy in the backfield for a sack. I noticed that no one was rub blocking on max protect - you were either locked down or running a route But thats still on Bellefuile... there is never an emergency out - teams know they can send everyone because MB's only answer is an occasional hitch screen behind LOS - I'm dying for a Kevin Glenn last second flip to Roberts - Cotton or Marshall could easily block and catch The other thing that drives me nuts is how come DelMonaco is a bum here and a genius in Calgary... and Wylie turns into a bum as soon as he comes back - I don't get it On the bright side, next game should be MB's good game - hopefully Marve is in for it

This is a baffling thing about the Neufeld trade... he was like that in Sask as well. He only looked good at RT but he's never gotten a look there. I was a Picard fan, but sure is looking like his best before date has passed... then again, whoever we plug and play - for years now - just seems to deteriorate... remember when Jones, Knapp were our saviours? Teams know that if they load the box Bellefuile will crumble... why abandon the run in this game? It was working and the score was so out of hand, just take it one play at a time...

My one defence would be that Hamilton has a much deeper team and has had a stable draft system for several years... They are down almost a full starting lineup of NIs but you can't tell. Hamilton has gone after DL and LBs for years now. But yes, I would have liked to see OShea lose it after that blocked punt
