I am disappointed that we lost out on Butler but probably moreso that it seems that we didn't really pursue Myddleton or even Jones. Not super big names but one of those guys, especially Myddleton, would have made a real difference on our OL. I do agree its another off-season that it feels like we didn't quite 'close the deal' - right or wrong, the perception was that we 'lost out' on Collaros and Burris and settled for Drew Willy. Combine that with the fact that we did not have our coaching staff announced... I think that really hampered us in FA. That being said, after Mack's scorched earth policy, we did okay.

A bit baffled by this one - we're loading up at Safety and still pretty thin everywhere else... Maybe the plan is for two NI DBs...??? I actually think Alexander has more of a chance to be our starting Safety than anyone - just wondering where Newman fits Kind of a shame we shipped Aprile for Bucknor imo

You guys are right. Nik Lewis has never ever just ran over people. He always jumps over them, every time, he is the most agile receiver in the league. That guy is twisty, Mervyn Fernandez ****.

Lumbering is an interesting way to describe a guy that has become famous for jumping over defenders to avoid tackles. Glad to entertain... So Nik Lewis does NOT look 'lumbering' you? He's 5'10 and 240 lbs... Lumbering as in runs over guys, deceptive speed as in jumps over Ike... but you know exactly what I meant and not unlike criticizing my TE/Coach post and then writing pretty much the same thing the next day... its cool, its your thing. I overstate, you undermine.

Forget last year - with trestman, he was a fullback playing like a slotback - he will be used the same way again... Laugh all you want, lavoie is not a traditional cfl fullback... I'd love to have him on the bombers - I see nick lewis-type potential imo

It's an expansion franchise, what did anyone really expect ? They seem to be the darlings of the CFL with the media. Personally, I hope they flop on the field. It would look good on Desjardins. I REALLY hope they don't beat us in their first game. Even if we lose 52-0, its fine. Pre-season. No biggie. Yawn.
