I like O'Shea as HC (or Khari) but its one or the other... I do not want to see OShea as HC and Khari as OC - really want some vet asst coaches if we have another rookie - who is available not too sure... definite no to Berry, a tentative 'maybe' to Bellefuile - we didn't look that bad with him and Max Hall Right now, I could see OShea - HC MB - OC KJ - QC/Asst OC

McManus and Jones seem fine with me... I would prefer OShea as HC surrounded by experienced guys though We are riding a 'fine line' between the old boys club and a rebuild...

What does this even mean? Worman has been Head Coach material for a long time now and continually passed over...

MB as Head Coach with Rick Worman as our OC is one fairly likely scenario.

Worman could be good - I guess if Walters is resisting it probably means we want him as OC? I'm kind of 50/50 on this... part of me feels like Worman is the offensive version of Greg Marshall... If we're bringing him in as a QB coach/scout - i'm all for it.

Lavoie was the rookie of the year before the back injury... Hurl is injured too... Pencer couldn't win the job from Morely... Just saying that giving up Courtney Stephen (starting safety...) and Rockhill (who was packaged for Wojt and then signed after EDM cut him!)... not sure that was worth Pencer... not sure Westerman was even worth that. Oh wait, Buono gave up less to scoop him...

If I had final say, we would have taken Edem... I mean it wasn't exactly an off-the-charts pick. I just feel like Walters is getting a bit too much credit now that people are realizing the level of Mack's incompetence.

Again...you're all missing the original point. What Makes John Murphy a better candidate than Kyle Walters? When was the last time John Murphy negotiated a trade? Well, 9 cfl seasons is one argument... and the fact that Calgary is absolutely stacked with NIs But, honestly, I just want a team with a good number of bodies in mgmt and scouting and a couple more coaches. A nice mix of experience and rookies is fine - as long as they complement each other... don't really care who it is in the end. If we hire Walters as GM, then hire three exp CFL guys to help him out...

If I remember correctly, no one had Laing on their radar when he was selected in the second round. A reach is still a reach whether they end up playing well or not. Laing, Hurl and Lavoie were all 'off the board'... but fact remains that the entire second round ended up contributing to their teams in some manner, even if it was as trade bait. Heard the exact same reasoning from Mack that it was a 'weak draft' with only two or three premium players... sure hoping that 2013 is different.

Cleyon Laing is lookin pretty good - another 2nd round 2012 pick that worked out... good thing Sleepy Joe packaged our 8 and 13 for Pencer...

Well, obviously, I have entered full procrastination mode... but anyway, Burke is always calling out the talent on the team as we all know. So just thought i would actually take a look. DBs - last year, Sears and Stewart were considered lock down corners - BStew has had a terrible season. Suber has had some great games and some not so much, JJ looks like he should stay at Safety. Washington hand-picked by Burke. McGee, Smith, West, Cauchy equals worst depth in the league. Problem: Coaching, mgmt LBs - Labbe still getting major playing time, no depth, Wild and Henoc are keepers. Dunn is a Burke favourite. Problem: Talent, mgmt DL - Everyone looks pretty good, nice depth - could upgrade Mainor and Thomas (?) - import DL easy to find Problem: none OL - January and Jones are good. Everyone else can go. CK still kicking around, Sorenson by far the weakest link. Prospects developing slow Problem: Talent, coaching QB - Nothing to see here. Problem: Talent, mgmt, coaching REC - Actually a decent crop especially if Matthews was healthy. Cdn talent is actually kind of below average despite all the bodies. Hard to get a rhythm with 90 different QBs Problem: Coaching, mgmt RB - Hard to say, our running team doesn't run the ball much. Some games Simpson and Ford look great, sometimes they look like bums. Problem: Coaching ST - Kicking is inconsistent Problem: Bombers are cursed. ST - Some of my favourites have now been here too long, nothing standing out Problem: Mgmt I guess its just repeating the obvious...
