Etienne might have been an 'okay' pick if we had some ni depth and he could develop... Coehoorn was the real jewel in that draft lots of guys knew it Plain and simple, it was a bad pick for the bombers

It really drives me nuts all this talk of the importance of vet players - Burke pumpin' JJ, Suber and Januarys tires... except he's the guy that went with Washington over Hef, and Cauchy over Logan, cut our two QBs with even limited experience. Just ridiculous.

i actually would like to see what Teague Sherman can do... I mean why not? Bo Smith, McGee and Cauchy are pretty much a waste of roster space right now... start looking at prospects. Except he's our only one!

Actually, the only team to really screw up the 11th pick in recent history is Joe Mack's bombers. Looking at the talent available in the 10-12th picks every single year is kind of depressing - sure hope Neufeld turns it on next year.

I went over the list, the amount of guys who were drafted and still playing for the team is a bit higher then my estimate and it was around 40%. However if you were to remove guys who simply ONLY play special teams... then it's much lower. Most of these guys are crap and out of all of them how many have been all stars? You're babbling again. If you look at 'high' second round picks... there's a pretty good percentage of talented players. 2009 was a crap draft... Blah blah about Hargs all you want - 11th pick in 2007 was Mace, in 2008 it was Wojt. Go through the 4th round and tell me how many picks work out.

I wonder what would have happened to Neufeld if we drafted him instead of Woodson or Chris Smith... probably cut and on Sask's PR now, ha! OL is never going to change until DelMonaco is gone.

This trade would be a win if it was Hall and our 4th for Neufeld... but this second rounder really is a killer. Everyone can **** all they want that its a 'thin' draft... and then we'll see if the 11th pick overall is playing ST or maybe starting next year. I bet we could have found a pretty decent LB/ST player to instantly replace James Green/Dubuisson. Draft an OL with 2nd and a good ST maybe backup LB with the 11th... too late now.

We need to lock up Kohlert... that's kind of sad that I just said that - he's about Hargreaves level...

My real concern in all this is that we just gave away a 2nd round pick that could have been packaged for a QB. Now really we only have the 2nd pick overall to offer... or Muamba - hopefully not both... We started shopping Hall for a 2nd round pick and a neg list player... we ended up paying more than we got - whether Hall is a rental or not. If Walters holds out until Wednesday, I just think Taman would have blinked, he's dying for a cup. Neufeld is not going to change this team.

Isn't a 'thin' draft more of a reason to hold onto the 10th pick?

So our interim GM has just traded away our second round pick in 2014... for Neufeld a 5th round draft pick who was the weak link on Sask's line this year. Walters making a case not to be re-hired. I guess we can defend our next GM by saying that Walters traded away all our picks...

Finally listening to Bob... Sick of Burke wanking about 'want to be more veteran as a team...' - yeah, Mack is to blame for a lot of this but I can't believe that Burke was not involved in cutting Logan and, of course, Hefney. Ridiculous. Burke subtly calls out the talent on his team... again. Trade Muamba, Hall, anyone while we can still get something for them...
