  1. 136 net yards of offence tonight for the Blue. Sask hung 325 on them last week, also with a third string qb marcel should be proud
  2. he should have handed the ball off 30 times tonight with the occasional long bomb.
  3. Walters never rose above a special teams coach and coffee fetcher for Mack, he was never qualified to be the GM of CFL team.
  4. If I was Kyle Walters, I'd replace myself with Higgins.
  5. you can't expect marve to read a cfl defense as a rookie, especially a Calgary/stubler defense anyone expecting marve to win the game with his arm is an idiot and isn't a professional coach
  6. the biggest gaffe is not having a strong running game to fall back on
  7. woo hoo could be a game changer. Seriously, get a couple gunners who can actually tackle.
  8. It's why special team coaches rarely get a sniff at head coaching gigs, Harbaugh, being the only exception to make an impact.
  9. Missed most of the game, how did it come to be that Marsh was at the helm? Cato got rocked by Norwood I think it was.
  10. Always so positive. That opinion tho means very little. Bombers could easily win 5 games. Seriously. They aren't gonna go 2 and 8 to end the year. Probably 8 or 9 wins is likely. What is the Bombers record without Willy again......
  11. The Bombers and BC will be lucky to win 5 or 6 games this year.
  12. I wasn't the one who said the Als would get creamed tonight and Popp was going to look like a chump.
  13. That was a very impressive drive by Marsh at the end to set up the winning field goal, didn't think he had it in him.
  14. As a player, would you go through a wall for Higgins? The guy exudes zero confidence.
  15. The spot light should be on Walters and his scouts, McMannus, Goveia and Morris, those are the guys that need to bring in the talent. This is just their first full year at it so we should have a better read on things by seasons end and whether or not they are getting it done. The current roster just isn't good enough or deep enough so that is where the improvement has to start. Once you've built a contender, then it falls on the coaching staff to make the difference but not right now.
  16. I donno, this year there seems to be a shift in the way fans are thinking. I haven't really heard any knowledgeable fans call for Oshea's head. I have heard and am usually leading the parade to get MB fired (but get that it likely won't happen until years end). I think most fans are FINALLY getting that you have to have some continuity to have long term success. Saying that...it's not hard to understand things in terms of MB performance. These past two years read like every year of his career. Shitty offence lots of sacks. Some of the best football minds I know have been saying the bombers won't succeed with him on the staff, and MB has done a decent job of proving them correct. Some of us just don't buy the 'things are different this time' schtick we are constantly fed by the team anymore.
  17. That sounds familiar, just another bad decision his part, lol.
  18. Not exactly. You do realize Popp wasn't the guy that hired Higgins in the first place tho right? Not exactly what you last little sentence implies at all. Regardless tho, Locker Room issues are the end of a coach, regardless of how they happened or if it had to do with Sam or Bowman or whoever, the second you have locker room issues and Montreal has this entire season, as a coach, It's only a matter of time. You are supposed to run that locker room, sounds like the players were. What that means is the inmates are running the asylum. Only a matter of time really... Whetenhall makes the decisions not Popp, you misunderstood. Ahhh so instead of letting your GM do his job, you do it for him? Yeah for sure, Owners who get involved are awesome for sure. You can't argue with the track record of success amigo.

  20. Guys a bum, some of those qb antics last night were just ridiculous, Bowman was just the icing on the cake Popp needed to deep six him.
  21. Quick and painless, no board to go to first for permission or any of that BS, the guy in charge actually make decisions, I envy them.
  22. In fairness, Marve is capable base on the small sample size he shows. If not for the penalties, a fumble by Kohlert and a stupid call by Marcel at the end, we should have won that game. Plus he played thru with a stomach flu and just had an abbreviated (6-snaps) 1 day practice. I'm hopeful that Marve can be that guy but until he proves it, all bets are off.
  23. BC still has the edge unless we can find a capable qb.
