Well, looking over the Bomber roster, I see 6 starting Nationals (not counting the kickers) maybe 8 if you stretch it, pretty grim.
Oh calm yer titties... I'm sure Walters will grab one or two more nats from the cuts and frankly even if we don't, we are not any worse off then Edmonton or Ottawa right now..
Well enlighten me then on the starting Nats that are available if you are so sure. We have enough backups, it's starters I'm looking for.

Just sign everyone BC cuts.

All the good ones are neg listed and you now have one more team (Ottawa) in that mix.
Hmm...beer belt won't look that good on me.

I actually think they have done a good job of balancing experience and youth on this team. Fielding a team with too many rookies has and never will work, guys like Banks and Peach just balance the scales.

what about randle? willy? moore? newman? eventhough he is hurt. That's not really accurate unless you add in the off season acquisitions too.
Oh good. A 35 year old Korey Banks and an MLB who no one else wanted.
lol, thank you I didn't want to have start listing, but yeah Moore and Randle suck, nothing gained there. Goosen & Neufeld too.

Nobody really stood out to me in either preseason game but as a unit, things didn't look too bad, except maybe the run defence at times.

Bombers at 5 - 13 is a good bet.

Without a NT and stud LB'ers, I wish him all the best.

I'll translate for O'Shea,
'if we had a plethora of International talent that we were dying to get on the field, then yes, we'd be interested in signing Messan, but we don't, so it's a moot point.'

IMHO, our biggest improvement over last year is coaching. Especially the leadership side of that job. I believe that we will see a greater committment from the players, and a whole lot more fight.
I like Burke as a DC, but I never forgot the game where we kneeled down while losing at the end of the game. I just never regained any confidence that he could lead a winning team. With M.O.S., I believe we have the passion and the drive, and that it will wear off on the team. I expect some bumps in the road, and some trouble along the way, but I believe that this team will improve.
Well they did turn over half the roster.

I should have added that it was Chamblin who asked Taman to look into him, according to the tweet in the side bar.

Good post, I just wanted to see a silver lining of some sort and was pleased with the way the offence has looked, the kicking game looks solid too. There is progress being made and looks like just a matter of time before they get the mess cleaned up.

Brett Carter not looking out of place at all, has good speed and hands
Max Hall not having a good outing, short arming everything.
-
We need a full slate of LB'ers and more beef at DT.
-
Brohm throws a nice ball, having a good game.
Grigsby not looking looking too hot
Brett Carter & Kelly with nice grabs.
-
Just watching the game now, Cotton and J Jonhson looking good on offense.
Defense is a disaster, 88 rush yards & 2 TD's against in one quarter.
Shame on Huff, blitzing the defence in pre-season, bush move.

The only good thing about this preseason is that we play probably the two best olines in the league which is a real good measuring stick for the middle of our defence. No need to press the panic button yet but I'd keep it close by, especially if the Stamps push us around tonight as easily as the Argos did. Etch's defence is only going to work if they can find the right mix of players for it.

Only university ballers are eligible for the draft otherwise they are free agents and need to meet the nonimport documentation standard.

Purrfect Friday thread, thanks.

Sorry but Andre Douglas was never that great, he had two left feet, just too slow for the speed of the CFL game.
