Mr. Dee You always use a crash test dummy when you're still testing things out. Crowton spilled the beans in the paper, once Goltz get's rubbed out, they will try Hall if they still haven't got it working right. Once they do though, Buck will be starting again.

2007 was a prime example of this, you had Milt on offense, Stokes returning kicks and they tried to get Bolden back on defence but his body crapped out, but three players had that team over the hump.

Buck, being the veteran he is, is watching and absorbing what works and doesn't with this offence. Our coaches are far from committed to staying with Goltz, despite what they say, Buck will come back and tear it up and the coaches will be considered genius for lighting a fire under him, even though they have no clue what they are really doing. Goltz is nothing more than a human punching bag while Crowton figures things out, sorry to say for those Goltz's fans or those who think the Bombers really have moved on from Buck.

You want to get the offence producing, get an impact player there as well. The Bomber offences have been mostly on and off for as long as I can remember but they always had one or two players who could come through in the crunch, I think 17to85 even recently commented on this another thread. This is really what is missing from the this team, a few impact players and they would be right back in the thick of things.

There are times in every game when the offence absolutely has to come through. I'd be happy with getting that out of them.

Nah I disagree, Dunn makes a poor defence look like a good defence. I'm talking about adding an impact player who can make plays to win games and make the players around him even that much better. Big difference.

What am I deflecting....do you think I know another reason why all these players were let go......they were malcontents whose replacements were clearly better than they were, I mean look at the win/loss record, it was clearly the best move for the team.

Dunn has been steady, nothing game changing, but steady. We need a difference maker in the middle, someone who isn't afraid to take a bad penalty if it means putting an opposition player on the bench for the night.

That's should be obvious, because Chauchy Muamba is so much better at it than he was.

Lobendahn, not Mack. Since the big guy went down in Week 11 of 2011, as he was headed for Defensive Player of the Year, the Bombers fortunes turned and the team has gone 11 - 22. I still remember him chasing down Chris Williams and knocking the ball out of his hands at the goal line to preserve the victory in that game for the Bombers. You can never under-estimate the value of your MLB position, he has to be your best player on defence game in and game out and force game changing plays. Move Henoc to WIL, let him use his natural athleticism to make plays, where he just has react, and let's get a stud in the middle of our defence again.
