  1. There will be no panic from the organization nor should there be. A win next week and they could be in a tie for second in the west. Time to tale a deep breath and move on.
  2. 8 years playing, 4 coaching positions, 12 combined, that's a lot of experience to be writing off. Dickinson only had 2 years coaching positions before becoming OC.
  3. jj about Kingsbury. It's pretty impressive actually seeing all the former Bomber qb's going on to coaching careers, Khari too. I can see Nichols coaching when his qb days are done too. Barker would be a good player personnel guy, lost of connections down south and 4 GC's to prove it.
  4. How about Kliff Kingsbury, former Bomber, about to get canned as HC at Texas Tec (only makes about $4M/year but I'm sure we can afford him).
  5. Walters 2020 MOS 2019 Lapo/Hall 2018 If MOS doesn't win a playoff game I don't expect he will be extending beyond his 2019 contract. Does he stick with Lapo/Hall knowing his future depends on them?
  6. Sad what some fans have come to expect the Bombers, almost, good try, get them next time, lol, it's really is a team for the casual fan, an outing and nothing more.
  7. I've never been sold on Adams, he doesn't anything particularly well, average receiver at best, a 3rd option on most teams.
  8. Of course not but Streveler will be commanding about $200K for his first starting gig and Nichols will be released. I still think Bennet is the dark horse though, guy has all the tools.
  9. The team is one dimensional on offence, after Harris, there really isn't much to work with. I see why Lankford was starting, he's the only 'big play potential guy' they have. The rest may be possession receivers but that game is too easy to shut down, as we seen the last three games. You gotta have a couple explosions plays every game from your offence, we aren't getting that.
  10. My wife does, lol. I'm not sure yet but his play is reminiscent of most declining qb's I've witnessed before him. That last pass today was just wow!
  11. It's hard to build a great secondary without continuity. Randle is the only guy who has been around since MOS took over. We'd be better off playing experienced wash outs back there then replacing inexperienced guys every year, that's not on Hall.
  12. I actually think the coaches are getting the most out of what they have to work with. This roster is not very deep.
  13. Harris went out early in the second half which didn't help. Riders played 3 man front most of first half with 4 deep, don't know why, guess they expected the Bombers to be bombing? They run blitzed more in the second.
  14. Fogg and Sayles shouldn't be starting either and Alexander and Randle are just barely holding their own. The entire secondary is a fail this year, as it was last.
  15. Jones is no idiot, he recognized it and made adjustments at the half. We're only playing with half a deck, not hard for a good DC to shut down.
  16. His receivers aren't open, you could see him scan the whole field a few times today and he doesn't have the ability to extend plays with his legs to allow them to get open. If he had better receivers, he'd probably be doing fine, but he doesn't and that doesn't fit an immobile qb's game.
  17. I don't think they've lost control, Nichols is just hot garbage right now.
  18. lol, okay but we have Kyle Walters and the rosters don't expand until 30 days after NFL cuts, so ain't gonna happen.
  19. Agreed, but you can't airlift receivers and DB's in time for next week. You're stuck with roster for now.
  20. You getting nothing for Nichols at this point, he will be another Glenn release in the off season. Like I said before, trade the rights to Gray, get a couple really good import players on offense for him, this team needs good import receivers desperately.
  21. MOS has to start giving Nichols the hook. I'd let him start the Banjo but if he isn't scoring TD's and moving the ball, you gotta pull him, any sane HC would.
  22. lol, that was my guess in the prediction thread. I know some people didn't agree with me before but MOS was on thin ice until Nichols saved his job. He owes his job to Nichols and is going to give him every chance. MOS is not a good coach, nor are Hall & Lapo, they'd be employed elsewhere if they were. Whether you believe it or not Winnipeg is the last resort for coaches. This will be my last year as a season ticket holder until the next rebuild starts, and if they start with a quality GM (someone like Huff), I'm done. 28 years is long enough.
  23. You have to be able to push the ball downfield. Lapo must have 0 confidence in Nichols ability to do that. Time for a qb change that should be obvious.
