I think 17 just hasn't forgiven Lapo for his last 2 stints here because there really isn't much this time around to conclude he hasn't improved as an OC (maybe too many field goals). This team wasn't exactly loaded with offensive talent, maybe three guys you had to key on, Harris, Adams and Dressler and Harris was the only one who stayed healthy all year. If they can load up more offensive weapons next season and we are still settling for field goals, then I would have to agree with him that Lapo hasn't changed his spots.

We did not give up as many busts in the secondary as we did this year or had to witness Roc Carmichael getting beat like a mule. We lost the WSF because the secondary bust 3 times leading directly to 21 Edmonton points, plan and simple.

because we still lost even with all those pass attempts because we settle for too many field goals instead of TD's, we led the league in that stat too.

It's about winning, Lapo has done alright for us in his 3 stints here but still hasn't won us the big game, big enough picture for you folks.

Hall must go or get new players to play his defence, the status quo won't do though. Lapo is Lapo, he does tend to overlook the obvious, like we should have been running the ball all day against the Esks. But it seems to be rubbing off on O'Shea too, we punted a few times on second 1 1/2 - 2 even though LeFevour could get that in his sleep. The fake punt was unnecessary when you have LeFevour on short yardage. We could have controlled the line of scrimmage from the outset but I guess it's just not sexy enough for Lapo. If Lapo does leave, I want to see a run first OC replace him.

Nichols should have a long successful career here so long as they get him some more weapons.

Why did we let Bruce Johnson go again? Must have been money because he wouldn't have lost his job due to performance. Johnson was a steady vet.

We need to rethink how we are spending our cap space. Guys like Medlock and Dressler aren't worth the money, imo.

The linebackers and secondary need a complete overhaul, I'm not convinced it's all on Rich Hall. We need better receivers, I don't even know if I would keep Dressler at this point, at least not for the money he's making. For all the good Lapo does for the offense, he does just as much bad.
