  1. We have the postman and the milkman playing defence for us, that's how bad it's gotten.
  2. Good signing, Irvin is no bum http://leaderpost.com/sports/football/cfl/saskatchewan-roughriders/well-travelled-veteran-corvey-irvin-has-found-a-home-with-the-saskatchewan-roughriders
  3. Sure but that's almost always how these trades go down.
  4. Yup, Chevy has tied us to the current group of under-performing veteran malcontents until 18/19, after that is when we find out how the draft and development strategy works out, which is why the coach will get extended.
  5. This is getting exciting. Maybe package the pick and a veteran or two and change the face of the team Chevy?
  6. Chipman will come to his senses if there isn't any playoff money flowing in.
  7. Their hooped because they are tied to most of those contracts until 2018-19 while they wait for the prospects to develop. They still won't have a starting goalie and six capable defence men and only two forward lines producing any points. Who else is to blame for the product on the ice and managing the salary if not the GM?
  8. The Jets don't spend to their ceiling, if they did, they wouldn't have $9M in space this season. Pavs's salary is the only real relief next year.
  9. Thanks to Chevy, the team is hooped until 2018-19 when they can shed salary, expect more of the same until then. http://www.hockeybuzz.com/cap-central/team.php?team=WIN Changing coaches won't solve the root of the problem which is tying your wagon to the wrong horses pulling the cart.
  10. I don't know why Chevy get's let off the hook, he is on his second coach already. http://www.sportsnet.ca/hockey/nhl/goaltending-gets-coaches-fired-maurice-worry/
  11. He's a bit undersized (lol, couldn't resist given all the size doesn't matter talk in this thread) for the middle, might as well just go 34 defence in passing situations.
  12. Miller is a good p/u, not sure why he was even still available. Just going by what has he done, Richards was/is a bad pick, until he proves otherwise.
  13. Simpson shed a few pounds later in his career as he didn't have the speed he used to. He got there quicker but usually got dragged for extra yards. Most CFL MLB are between 225 - 245 with Bear Woods being at the top of that scale.
  14. Smith or Temple will be our MLB as the roster currently stands. And if anyone suggests Hurl, I will do just that.
  15. Jeffcoat will be interesting, they tried to make him an OLB in a 34 in the NFL. I have seen his weight listed between 235 - 253 so this guy could end up being anywhere depending on what he actually comes to camp at.
  16. Personnel-wise (with a few more moves before training camp) we stack up well with the rest of the west division at every position. My biggest concern remains Ritchie Hall and if the game has passed him by.
  17. Very concerned about the state of our linebackers, they were the weak link last year on an otherwise all-around solid team, and we have subtracted from that group instead of adding to it. You can say that our scouting might unearth a gem or two but there is no track record of that being the case, all our improvement has come via free agency.
  18. Fever http://www.bing.com/videos/search?q=Fever+Bullet+for+My+Valentine&&view=detail&mid=149C07ADE30CC6CA618C149C07ADE30CC6CA618C&FORM=VRDGAR
  19. I wasn't a fan of either truth be told.
  20. We didn't lose any major pieces and added a couple good ones, we made out okay today.
  21. Nope, I'll keep guessing if that's the best we can come up with.
  22. Hurl is a pylon, worth pylon money.
  23. Our LB situation has me guessing?
