  1. Exactly. Almost always a run right down the middle. No creativity. Run down the middle on first down then suddenly its second and long. lol play calling has been awful.
  2. True I don’t think he “fell” last season but the cracks were definitely there. That and a noticeable decline in the quality of the offensive line which has only been miles worse this season.
  3. No kidding. What people fail to realize is the biggest issue with this offense isn’t necessarily Zach it’s the offensive line. Look at our line compared to 2019 or 2021. It went from leagues best to statistically leagues worse. Zach for better or for worse holds the ball too long but he’ll move around the pocket to find the open guy, there’s literally no time to throw. I noticed against Calgary there was a lot of short quick passes, which isn’t his game at all. He can’t hold the ball in the pocket if there is no pocket longer then three seconds.
  4. Lucky is completely washed. He lost his best and really only asset that maybe him a good receiver and that was his speed. As much as our receiving core needs an upgrade I would rather give a young guy a chance with an upside. Wilson and Johnson were invisible most of the game but at least they showed promise on that last drive or the game and on OT. Sometimes a young receiver just needs the confidence booster that run and catch from Wilson was pretty amazing. He reminded me a little bit of Rasheed Bailey there.
  5. ST’s were solid in general. Coverage teams were good, Smith looked great he’s about to break one, and Castillo was money! Even give the punter some props. I didn’t see too many of those dumb kicks and I’ll give him his due for that fake punt!
  6. As much as I wanted to see a win, another loss maybe sounds the alarm that changes need to be made and that we’re not good enough. Time to make some roster changes, season isn’t over yet but enough of this country club bull **** already.
  7. What kind of comment is this?
  8. It’s a travesty that he’s playing. Just because he is playing doesn’t mean he should be. Montreal should have done the right thing in this situation.
  9. I’m delusional and I think if we brought in two of Oakman, Leonard, or Bennett we would be just fine. Our D line is struggling big time but I’ve liked what I’ve seen out of Adam’s, Fayad, and Woods. We just need more push. Our secondary all things considered looks promising. On the offensive side I like that we’re using Eli and Wallace. They both looked great. The key to our offense really is a healthy Brady.
  10. Absolutely insanity. He was never a full snap player even in his “prime”
  11. Let’s put it this way. 2019 was the first grey win I’ve seen in my life time. It was years of agony and defeat, years of hope, years of despair, and everything in between. I know for a fact. Nothing will ever feel like the 2019 run again. It was a once in a life time experience and feeling. All the ups and mostly downs as a bomber fan in my life time made our run that much sweeter.
  12. In comparison in 2019 we got desjarlais, kongbo, Brady, Eli, Hallett and Exume. Man that was a solid draft for us.
  13. The phrase I’ve been using lately is arrogance, ignorance or both?!
  14. It could get ugly at home on Friday and unfortunately that might need to happen before the organization starts to wake up. We’re now 0-5 in our last five games. Thankfully it’s only 0-2 on the schedule so there’s plenty of time to right the ship but changes need to be made.
  15. I’m still delusional and think we’re going to bring in Oakman, between him, Jefferson, and Adam’s that would be a scary unit with some potential.
  16. The thing is Augustine should have been gone immediately after. When Brady was on his old deal you can make some sense of it, but how can you justify paying over 100 k for a back up Canadian running back? Especially when we don’t need a Canadian there if Brady goes down. That one I can pin on Walters although I’m sure the coaching staff get a say and I feel like Augustine is one of O’Sheas guys.
  17. So I have quite a few thoughts and I haven’t been able to get them all out because I’ve been busy but I want to try to relay them the best I can and in no particular order but here it goes.. -So what exactly are we doing with Chris Streveler? There must have been conversation between the coaching staff and Chris prior to him being signed here. There’s absolutely no way he’s going to be happy being a glorified Dakota Prukop, in fact it’s such a miss managed role for him, he’s fast and athletic but he’s actually not even as good as Dakota is in the short yardage. He spent the last four years in the NFL and we have no way to use him. First and goal at the 7 why don’t you put him in and allow him to either pass, scramble or hand the ball off… 2nd and 1, no pass attempt to keep them honest? This goes into my next point. - I’m critical on Zach as any one has been and I won’t go too much into his play because that’s been discussed however what hasn’t been a topic of conversation is the offense X’s and O’s and that falls on Buck, over the years Zach has made a living on these slow developing plays where he gets a lot of time to throw from the pocket and he’ll step up or roll out and hit an open guy but that started to become a problem last season because Zach started to get hit more, our o-line no longer gives Zach the time to do that, this season it’s even worse, one year older for Stanley, Paddy and the guys, and losing Hardrick, you would think it’s time to start changing the offense, without Brady the slow developing fake hand off was essentially a suicide play because we couldn’t even be bothered to keep the defence honsest by using Augustine even though he’s no Brady he’s at least capable . -Another point regarding the coaching staff is the horrid play from the ST. Horrible and no imagination. When’s the last time we ran a fake? Our coverage team sucked last year, it sucks again, our punting sucked last year, it sucks again. When Grant was injured last year we had no return game, this season we have no return game and there doesn’t seem to be an urgency to make any changes here. -and this really ties into my last point the lack of urgency to make changes. We simply haven’t been good enough, and the cracks were starting to show after 2022 but we continue to move at a snails pace in order to make changes why is Mitchell still fielding punts? Why hasn’t there been any changes to the o-line after Zachs been beat up over the last two weeks, why only dress 6 Dline men when Walters brought in a lot of competition at training camp, why continue to pay 360 k for two running backs when at the very least your back up could be an American making 40 k, it’s either arrogance, ignorance or both I see every other team continuing to make changes to get the best roster possible, it’s down right sad that the only changes happen when there’s an injury and we have to almost hope for one in order for change to occur .
  18. These updates are getting me to think it’s going to be the status quo again this week. No urgency to change things and get better. The arrogance from the coaching staff..
  19. Way too much money for the running back position. Especially considering most teams are spending about a third of that for their starting runningback and back up.
  20. Fayad was the Mac Defensive player of the year in 2021 with 13 sacks and 17 tackles for loss. The guy has a motor. If he didn’t get injured at the start of training camp you would have known who he is. Very intriguing prospect.
  21. I said this last year. Kramdi has a great nose for the football he’s always just seems to be at the right spot to make a play.
  22. First lead of 2024. We’ve been quietly out playing them after a horrible start.
  23. On the bright side our D-line has been pretty good. A lot of pressure on Brown so far.
