  1. Well as much as I despise the Riders it’s always more entertaining seeing them lose in the post season. Especially to us. I can’t believe they didn’t address their o-line situation all season. 71 sacks.. ouch. As much as Cody is a fraud. You’re not going to have much success if you can’t keep a pocket around your QB. They should clean house this off season. No excuses when you’re hosting the Grey cup not to make any moves to make your team better when it’s not working out.
  2. Stamps secondary is awful but yes he’s playing okay.
  3. Thrilled about this move. I noticed in the game against Edmonton how much fun Collaros seemed to be having. He was on the sideline in a blow out and he had his helmet in his hand because he wanted to be back out there. I’m really happy for Zach, he’s playing the best ball of his career and his love for the game is apparent. After what he’s gone through he deserves all the success in the world.
  4. Did you not just hear about Tua in the NFL? Seems to me the doctors got it horribly wrong with their franchise QB. Let’s be honest there’s a lot of politics and shady dealings in sports when it comes to injuries and looking the other way in regards to getting a star player back on the field earlier then anticipated.
  5. That stamps secondary is soft as butter
  6. Interesting was that kick on purpose? If so great job by Calgary.
  7. Calgary also sucks, is this the team we’re afraid of lol d is soft and Maier looks exposed
  8. We got a good team! It’s been next guy up for a few years now as we lose guys to the NFL or in FA but we haven’t skipped a beat.
  9. BOLO has been really solid. Like for your fifth option on O you can’t expect much more.
  10. Maybe but he was also 33, and dealing with lingering injuries. Don’t want any of our starters right playing too much, but I would give him that time to get to his milestone he’s only 25 with very little mileage on his body.
  11. Interesting.. for the love of the game and the next great Canadian QB I hope they don’t rush Rourke back and cause further injury. Adam’s is capable enough in BC to take them as far as they’re going to go this year. I hope he has a healthy and long career, just seems foolish to bring him back this soon.
  12. HM: to the secondary, only allowed a 130 yards, and one passing touchdowns in the last two games combined. For all the flack the secondary has been getting, they’re really starting to come together, a healthy Alexander makes a world of difference back there.
  13. Suitor says a lot of stupid things but even for Suitor that was ridiculous.
  14. You’re runningback is visibly injured and you you give him a meaningless carry to end the half. Not a great look for the Elks.
  15. Hopefully we can get it out of reach early so that we can take Zach out.
  16. One thing I’ll say is he brought in a lot of good players, especially on defence in a short period of time. It was basically the nucleus of players that went to the 2011 grey cup. But he had a huge ego, burned a lot of bridges, was un professional, and seemed like the game passed him by with his schemes.
  17. Or.. Walters had some cap space and didn’t anticipate any of the NFL guys coming back this season so they decided to get one more weapon for Zack. I wouldn’t put too much into it being bad news about Ellingson.
  18. Exactly he was one of the best returners in the league before his injury. Seems to me he’s still not 100 percent healthy. I’m not too worried about it.
  19. Confirmed. Saw it on 3rd down nation. Lawrence is signed
  20. I’m thinking Darby must be pretty familiar with our schemes. Any chance he suites up this week?
  21. Wilcotts 2 tackles in 10 games will be solely missed.
  22. Roberts ran hard. I really don’t care that he didn’t stretch or smoked. He was completely durable during his time in Winnipeg, looked at 05 for example on one or the worst o lines or all time; and a stagnant offense he has nearly 350 total touches. He ran hard, gave it all he got on the field and never got hurt. The dude gets way too much slander on here. He was our work horse at 5 foot nothing, a hundred and nothing pounds.
  23. O’Shea and Walters should be locks, Stanley next, and then tough to keep Collaros out if he wins another MOP award, and a third Grey Cup. That’s pretty elite numbers. I think Jefferson, Biggie, and Hardrick you can easily make cases for as well but I would put those 4 in first.
  24. I thought Alexander played a good game. He had a couple of big hits. We were missing his presence for sure. Makes the receiver think twice while running in the middle of the field.
  25. Best fans in the league! Hands down.
