  1. Richard Karikari would like a word with you guys!
  2. 135 for Holm. Seems pretty fair. Definitely could have got more somewhere else.
  3. Maybe our new OC will use him right and not as a glorified running back.
  4. B.C is close to signing McInnis. I’m a little surprised. I thought he would follow Adams to Calgary, or was hoping maybe we’d be in on him if we weren’t able to bring guys like Woli, and Lawler back.
  5. Well he’s right. Over 300 k for a receiver is crazy, and quite frankly not even close to worth it.
  6. I’m really trying to wrap my head around this. Wilson can’t be counted on to be anything more then a rotational guy because of his health, he’s still a decent player when he’s on the field, and Gauthier is still a good ST player again while healthy. I have a hard time believing both would be in the league if Winnipeg didn’t offer them contracts. I’m hoping it’s a case where they realize this and it’s under a team friendly deal because otherwise it just leads me to believe more of the same old from the Bombers.
  7. Two injury prone guys that I would have moved on from.
  8. I wonder if this means they’re moving on from Lawler or Schoen or even both. I hope not but they might want to allocate some of that receiver money this year else where..
  9. He made 200 last season. I’m fine with it.
  10. Nice now let’s get him some help on the DL
  11. Elks released Dillion Mitchell. I thought he was going to be a super star when he came in the league half way through the 2022 season but he never really ended up being that guy. I wonder if a team takes a chance on him. He’s only 27.
  12. Awesome! I like this move a lot.
  13. Meh 45 thousand more then Streveler made last year, and I’d argue he isn’t as valuable as Streveler was to Winnipeg.
  14. I know it stings but honestly bringing in good young players on rookie deals is what gives teams flexibility with the cap. I’d rather find the next pokey then over pay for a vet.
  15. Okay well situation is a little different first off there’s a little difference then losing three in a row and never winning the big game then there is to winning two and then losing three. Obviously we know things aren’t good enough, but when Buffalo fired Polian they got back next year (and lost again) and then went 6-10 the next season, we’re mostly a wild card team for the next couple of seasons and then went 16 years without making the playoffs, meanwhile Polian then goes to Indy and goes to two more superbowls, winning one, and going into to the Indianapolis Colts ring of fame. Really the moral of the story is the grass isn’t always greener, as much as this team has to be better next year using that example actually shows making those kind of decisions can cripple a franchise if done incorrectly.
  16. Toronto really does it best when it comes to moving on from players. They trust their scouting and coaching that they can bring in the next great player.
  17. Agreed. Plus he was much better once he came back from injury.
  18. Exactly the same people would complaining about bringing back vets and status quo. I love this. Not to say some of our guys won’t be back but gotta take a long hard look at some of these players and hopefully be more active in FA
  19. Yeah he has room to improve but 600 yards and 10 yards per catch for someone getting close to Demski money is crazy to me. He has 900 yards in three seasons and I know part of it has to do with his injury problems during his first two years but that’s also some room for concern.
  20. Missed opportunities for sure. We should be atleast 4-1 in the grey cup in those years.
  21. Interesting because CF has voiced that he still wants to be a starting QB, I wonder how Tre Ford feels when he was getting the lip service that he was going to be the franchise QB. Obviously something has to give here.
  22. I’m ok with them taking time to decide who they want back. It hopefully shows no more status quo. There’s a long list of vets I’d be happy to move on from, a few that I’d like back but this team desperately needs some new blood.
  23. 3 months for stealing a child’s innocence. Absolutely pathetic!
  24. Sweet! Hope this means the writing is on the wall for Bighill.
