That’s an awful article. Even if they win 42 percent of the time that’s close to a 50 percent chance of playing for the Grey cup opposed to having to win two games to make it to the Grey cup. If you look at those odds from purely just a statistical view that’s a 25 percent chance to make it to the Grey Cup.

There seems to be a lot of Lapo slander. I mean we know he’s not a perfect coach. But he is a good coach and he helped transform our offense and our team in general. Remember our team was 5-13 the season before Lapo came to the Bombers. He wasn’t the only reason obviously but was a part of the re emergence of our football team becoming respectable and I thought down the stretch in 2019 once we had Collaros he had some of his best play calling. Was a little conservative? Sure, is a good head coach? Well that’s yet to be determined but maybe not but he certainly had a huge impact on our team winning the grey cup in 2019.

I’ll be completely honest here. I thought we were building something here in Winnipeg. I remember this was talk about O’Shea and Walters and I absolutely wanted to keep Walters as I thought he did a fantastic job drafting and building from what was poor Canadian talent, and with O’Shea I was willing to give him a short rope in 2016. I thought he was a good players coach but wasn’t sure if he could be that Grey Cup worthy head coach. But I think we can all agree is like players, coaches and general managers can grow into their roles, bringing Lapolice in 2016 I think helped a lot as Marcel was absolutely horrendous, as it gave veteran coordinators who have been head coaches before help with O’Shea who was a first time head coach.

I always liked O’Shea and thought he was a good coach, I think people were losing patience of the process after going 5-2 to start the 2014 season only to finish 7-11 and then having the disastrous injury plagued season or 2015 and going 5-13.. after having some really bad teams after the Dave Richtie era I don’t think our fan base was very patient to trust the process. But I’m very glad Walters and O’Shea got one more year because if 2016 wasn’t pretty I don’t think either of them would be here and that would have been a big mistake.

Demski who is already well paid is going to be getting a huge pay raise so this is good to know 😁

Good lord I don’t particularly like or respect Donald Trump but it’s crazy how obsessed people are with him and always bringing him into conversation. As John Stewart said on CNN time to let him go he’s living rent free.

Harris and Oliveria have a very similar style. Which is a great problem to have but I couldn’t help notice on that run because of how quick he hit that hole that he was the only one out of the three who would have the speed to bust out a big play like that on that particular play.

Augustine looked FAST on that play. Would love to see him get a few carries as a change of pace back.

They don’t want to play by the fourth quarter. Getting physically beat for 45 minutes takes a toll on the body and the psyche. That’s why we’re so dominant in the fourth. You can only take so much punishment.

To be honest I don’t even care if you don’t like our team. That’s fine. I didn’t like every good team in the league there was some un likeable teams. But don’t act a different way depending on which forum you’re at. I can respect an opinion even if I don’t agree with it but I really don’t like two face behaviour

No need to do damage control. Own your opinion. We don’t respect you trashing us on a rivals fan forum then doing a 180 here. Either respect us or don’t but do go back and fourth.

In all fairness you would probably have to have a head injury to come up with a take like that.

Too bad we won’t get the chance to humble them again this season after kicking their ass in a sweep this season. Don’t see them getting the chance to play us in the western finals but would love to see us win another western finals against them just to shut them up.

Or team has the lowest PPG average in the CFL in 50 years but yet the weakness is our defence! Totally saw that. Honestly I try to look at things objectively and give other teams credit over the years when they have a solid team but a bunch of sore losers over there.
